Important changes - Pivot
So.... very long time no updates, not cuz we did nothing, but we were preparing a very big and important change.
[p]Some of you might love it, and some might be a little concerned. The big news:[/p][p]We have finished working on the game design document, pipelines for each aspect of development, so what are the changes we are talking about?[/p]
Here is a small rundown:

[p]The market of EMS Simulation and Serious Gaming is oversaturated with mid-quality, point to point driving gameplay. These games and simulators lead to poor immersion quality and often feel like a "Point-A to Point-B" system. Proper representation of the EMS Field in the form of simulation and serious gaming is inaccessible for the home user, whether for leisure or educational training. The "Paramedics!" EMS Simulator bridges the gap from commercial simulation to an obtainable solution for anyone, in the form of realistic and entertaining simulation fidelity. Our product is an in-depth simulation, using open-source software to simulate body systems down to the cellular level accurately. This includes interactions with medications and procedures. Experience the thrill and intensity of being an EMS Clinician.[/p][p]The focus of “Paramedics!” is not to be an open-world driving simulation anymore. We aim to deliver a high-end, high-fidelity simulation product. We strive to develop an accurate experience which focuses on all nuisances of Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Medicine as a whole. We drive ourselves to develop intuitive player controls and mechanics. With that being said, we are a very small, independent studio team. This gives us the flexibility and ability to develop our product the way we see fit, and to build lasting relationships with our player base. However, this also means that development and such takes time. Though you may not hear from us daily, we are working every day to deliver the best experience possible. Lastly, there are several big features being added to the simulator. Experience Points give you the ability to buy and earn qualifications, progress in tiers, unlock additional callouts, and upgrade equipment. Our base map is modelled after the U.S. and its complex EMS system, drawing inspiration from areas and departments around the country. Lastly, we will add the addition of new maps into the simulator, each map will represent a different country, and as such, a different EMS system.[/p][p][/p]

[p]We still stay mod focused, but the game loop changes to be more structured instead of drive from a to b and deliver patients, yes you will not be able to drive ambulances, but with this adjustment we can focus more on the patient system and scene creation system and in game editor for you to create own scenarios and more.[/p][p][/p]
And on this note, check out the upcoming playable character identities you can choose from (female variant in the works).
