POSSIBLE REINSTALLATION REQUIRED FOR BETA VERSION 2

Hi there!

In the latest version released on 08/06/24, we've added performance improvements, DLSS and FSR deactivation, and optimized shader loading for Local Disk and RAM.

This version, as previously mentioned, integrates different logics in the game's files compared to previous versions. This means a clean reinstallation is necessary (Steam - Mental: The Dark Night - Uninstall - Install).

If a reinstallation is not performed, it is quite possible that during shader loading, the game will freeze resulting in an Unreal Engine crash.

Once reinstalled, you'll be able to access the game!

Mental: The Dark Night has entered a phase where its files will be altered as little as possible. This time it was for significant improvements, and we will try to prevent such updates in the future.

Thank you!

EARLY ACCESS TO THE BETA

Hello there! :D
I'm Merlon, the developer of Mental: The Dark Night.

If you're seeing this news, it's because you have early access to the Mental Beta!

I invite all of you to try out the Mental: The Dark Night Beta. The more updates that are released, the more progress you'll be able to compare and observe.
Access to the Beta has been available since Beta 1, but the difference is that Beta 1 was exclusive and required a code for access. Some of you who have early access via a Steam License did not have an access code. Now, starting with Beta 2, access is fully open to all of you, the privileged ones for the early Beta access. ːsteammockingː

Keep in mind that when the Beta ends and Mental is released for purchase, the Steam License you have active for Mental: The Dark Night will be deactivated.

It is appreciated if you are open to suggestions and reporting internal game issues (bugs).
Any support is greatly appreciated!

Greetings! ːsteamhappyː
