Update v0.4.19 – ☢ The Rad Rework & Save System Overhaul

Survivors, a major update is here! This release refines and expands upon the v0.4.18 Beta Branch, bringing a rad system rework, upgraded save mechanics, an all-new ambient sound manager, gamemode presets, achievements, and much more! Thank you to those who helped us test out the beta branch! Let’s break it down.

[h3]☢ Rad Rework[/h3]
The radiation system has been revamped! Expect better balancing, new rad-tier mechanics, and a host of new rad-related items to help you survive.
The old radiation system was just percentage-based, where having certain clothing items or accessories equipped would lead to a lower percentage of radiation poisoning. The new system is now tier-based, meaning that different zones will require a greater tier of radiation protection. If you get 100 protection, you have now reached LEGENDARY status and are immune to radiation poisoning. There are a few different routes to achieve 100 rad protection, a little tip… take advantage of your accessory slots!
- New Rad Med Container – Find the new anti-rad meds more in high rad areas.
- Spirulina Algae (grows in toxic water areas) – Can now be crafted into:
- Spirulina Algae Cig
- Spirulina Algae Tea
- Spirulina Algae Pills
[h3]💾 Save System Upgrades[/h3]
We’re overhauling saves to ensure better stability and functionality:
- Save history tracking (e.g., ABC, ABC_1, ABC_2) – Never lose track of past saves.
- Backup saves now listed separately in the Load Menu.
- Fixed world container saves – No more lost items due to missing data.
- Vehicle saves now preserved when using the save fixer.
- UI tweaks for Load Menu integration into Pause & Main Menus.
[h3]🎶 Ambient Sound Manager Implemented[/h3]
- A new ambient sound system adds immersive environmental audio that changes based on the time of day.

[h2]🔧 General Fixes & Improvements[/h2]
- Major bunker loot buffs
- Fixed containers with incorrect interact names
- Fixed Tainted Guzzler issue – Now properly cleans in a campfire or furnace.
- Fixed MainLevel collisions
- Added missing ladders
- Fixed minimap inconsistencies (Thanks to ClusterDuck & others!)
- Increased loot across all sources (containers, AI, road warriors, etc.).
- RadRX now has 8 uses, visually represented by its pill mesh.
- More stones can now be picked up in the environment.
- Mouse input in vehicles now respects sensitivity & inverted settings.
- Fixed admin teleport bug – You can now teleport across the map (allegedly).
- Improved reload animations for shotguns when swapping items.
- Quickbind Timer adjustment – Prevents multiple hotkey spamming.
- New tooltips added for key items (e.g., keycards now indicate usage locations).
- Further developments on the Cave POI
- Added keycards to admin spawn list
