Video Hole Episode II News

[p]Hello everyone, [/p][p][/p][p]Well, here we are at last. After four years of varying degrees of success and morale, Videohole: Episode II is finally finished, and we will be releasing it on October 23rd, 2025. We’re using this last month to squash minor bugs, sub-edit, and promote before release.[/p][p][/p][p]Just to reiterate: The game is genuinely finished, we know we had that false release date that one time, but we are for real this time![/p][p][/p][p]One thing just for the steam page:[/p][p]We’ve seen a few of the same usernames for the past few years engaging on this page, some of you have even been here since the release of the first game. We just want to take this moment to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for staying interested this long in this project. We’ve mentioned it before, but we are a three person team that made this game with no funding entirely in our free time outside of work, and all the comments from people who loved the first game really kept us going. [/p][p][/p][p]Videohole: Episode II drops in a month. The Trevor Demo of VideoHole: Episode II contains a full playthrough of just one of the many worlds you will visit inside this maze of your friends' insecurities and crushed dreams, all blown out to cinematic proportions!

In this demo, you will explore the mind of Trevor, the introverted and at times irritating nepotism baby who has begrudgingly shared a workspace with you for as long as you can remember, but is that really all there is to this sad, helpless individual? Perhaps there's a little more going on in there than meets the eye. The world that Trevor has unwittingly projected onto this meta reality certainly seems to suggest so. Explore a vast forest, solve puzzles, and escape from an unstoppable cosmic terror as you race to return Trevor to reality!

We are Jofisoft, the developers of Videohole.

While we had originally planned on releasing this game on the 20th of November, we have had to make the difficult decision to push this date back. We are a three person team and we all do all this outside of full time jobs that are subject to changes in schedule and free time, so it is sometimes hard to accurately determine how long a specific task will take. Furthermore, the November release would have been sandwiched between two seasonal sales, which would have drastically reduced our initial visibility on Steam.

We have been working on this game for almost three years, and want it to be as polished and complete as possible. For those of you that have been following us all this time, we’re grateful for your continued engagement and support. We plan on releasing the game in early 2025, almost exactly four years from the release of Videohole: Episode I.
