The Voice Navigation feature introduced in the 1.35 Update for both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 has garnered a large number of positive reviews. We have also heard our community's feedback loud and clear, that they want to see more language options included.

As promised in the announcement above, today's mini-update will see the inclusion of 6 new language options (and there will be some more in the future). In the meantime, be sure to check our Steam Workshop for the huge number of GPS voice-over mods there created by our great community (ETS2, ATS). For now, we will be focusing our time on future projects and other surprises.

We are also excited to release this video interview with both voice talents behind the English versions of the feature - Skye Bennett and Doug Cockle, both of whom have had experience voicing video game characters and in many other roles. Perhaps you can learn something new about these incredibly talented and well-known voice actors.

300,000 completed tyre deliveries, what an achievement! Our community never fails to impress us when working together to complete our World of Trucks events. The Goodyear Roll-Out event saw over 150,000 deliveries made in less than 24 hours, and we admit we were amazed to see that this event would be completed in such a small amount of time.

However, distributing these new tyres to all of the garages and showrooms across Euro Truck Simulator 2 requires the help of our awesome community in our Goodyear Roll Out event on World of Trucks.

With this event, you will have the opportunity to receive a free activation key for the new Goodyear Tyres Pack DLC, if your own personal goal and the community goal is achieved.



Be advised that the deliveries might be of long-distance, and owning a variety of map DLCs will be a crucial factor in succeeding.



Using external contracts in Euro Truck Simulator 2 on a World of Trucks-connected profile, the community must reach 300,000 deliveries of Goodyear tyres using the provided Goodyear trailer.

To complete your personal goal, you must make 10 or more deliveries of Goodyear tyres using external contracts on a World of Trucks-connected profile on Euro Truck Simulator 2.

This in-game event will be available until Saturday 3rd of August 23:59 CEST (21:59 UTC).

One or more of the following map DLCs are required (DLCs are on sale during the first 2 days of the event):

• Vive la France!
• Scandinavia
• Italia
• Beyond the Baltic Sea

One of the major features of the 1.35 update, for both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, was the addition of the GPS Voice Navigation functionality and the welcome party was great! It felt like only minutes after we pushed the button, that almost every nation had one or more versions of their own language supported for the voice-over feature. This is thanks to the community who took full advantage of our games' mod support.

Yep, that's right, on Steam Workshop (ETS2, ATS) you can find different GPS voices, ranging from funny to serious, voiced by well-known actors, comedians, celebrities and of course our very own modders. That's because adding different voice packs or even recording your own is really easy! Check out our modding wiki to see how!

That said, as much as we love community-made mods, add-ons and reworks, we didn't slam on the brakes! There will soon be a total of 15 supported languages; this means that in the future update, you'll find 6 new language options in addition to the 9 that we already have. This mini-update will also bring some minor fixes and changes, which are mostly a result of your helpful feedback. Thank you for that!
