This update will give you some new things to do once you've reached the ending, so read on to learn what's in store (no pun intended), and how you can try it out today!

[/p][h2]Dig a Basement[/h2][p]You need more space and can't expand outward...so what about straight down? This update adds a new questline that sees you expanding Discounty once again. But as you've no doubt learned, nothing in Blomkest comes easy...and there might be some other people in town who take an unexpected interest in your new basement project.

[/p][h2]Level Up Your Shop![/h2][p]Don't let your Discounty Rewards Points go to waste! We're adding a few new items to the Rewards Shop, including a new post-game category with some cool new ways to boost your efficiency and profits!


[/p][h2]A New Coat of Paint[/h2][p]Solruna has been experimenting with extracting the essences of color, and believes a new coat of colored paint might be just the thing to purge the negative energies Discounty brought to town. In a new quest, you will learn how to transmute items from your store into new colors for the shop exterior. For a price, of course.


[/p][h2]Quality of Life & Bug Fixes[/h2][p]We're also throwing in a bunch of quality of life improvements and bug fixes! Some highlights include the ability to swap back to the cash register after upgrading the scanner, improvements to Chester's behavior, clarifying certain quests, and much more!


[/p][h2]Try the Public Beta![/h2][p]Sound exciting? Well, good news: you can try it out right now! We've added a new Steam branch that will allow you to test updates so you can let us know what you think before it goes out to everyone!

Discounty Patch 2 - Version 1.0.2

Attention, shoppers!

Discounty's second major patch is here! We've been able to include some of our community's most-requested features and squash many of the remaining critical bugs, including:
  • A faster and skippable end-of-day report.
  • Players getting stuck in numerous locations.
  • Time skipping ahead too far in the post-game.
  • ...and Elmer is less of a creep.

We're already working on our next major update, which will include more polish, bug fixes, and highly-requested quality-of-life features -- like the ability to switch back to the standard cash register after unlocking the scanner. But more excitingly: the next update will also include new content to expand the endgame and give you more reasons to continue playing! While we can't promise any specifics right now, we hope to drop this update about a month from now, so keep an eye out for more info soon!

While we can't give any specifics quite yet, many of these will be focused on expanding endgame content and replayability. And Blomkest still has its share of mysteries yet to be solved...

Before we add any new content, we still want to put a lot of polish on the game, while adding some of your most-requested quality of life and accessibility features. We're currently putting the final touches on Patch 2, which we'll then begin testing. This will include dozens of small fixes and improvements, but most importantly: a faster and skippable end-of-day report! This definitely won't be the last patch, so please keep your feedback and bug reports coming!
