Patch notes 0.6.7.2

We're super grateful for everyone letting us know about issues and giving us feedback on things that are working well (and not so well) in the game!

For this patch, we've been hard at work fixing some severe performance issues. If you were previously experiencing performance issues - especially related to VRAM usage - this release should improve your experience by a lot.

Additionally, linux users on non-ubuntu systems should now be able to properly proceed in the game!

Full changelog 0.6.7.2:
  • Significantly reduced video memory usage
  • Fixed an issue that caused Linux users to not be able to proceed in the game
  • Rock resources now more accurately reflects the remaining amount of stone
  • Wheat fields are harvested in a more random pattern
  • Pressing space now toggles the pause mode on and off
  • Added building steps to more buildings
  • Slightly increased the spawn rate for fish

Path 0.6.7.1

This hotfix release addresses some multiplayer issues:
  • Potential fix for an issue that causes multiplayer desync at the beginning of the game
  • Fixes an issue where multiplayer players are unable to control their own settlements after re-joining a session

Patch notes playtest build 0.5.1

Thank you to everyone who's reporting issues on the current playtest! We're gathering lots of feedback via Discord, and are working hard to make sure the playtest is running smoothly for everyone!

We've identified and fixed several bugs in the initial playtest build. For more information, see the full changelog below:

New in this build

* Added an option to choose between exclusive and borderless fullscreen mode
* Added an option to specify which screen the game starts on
* Added resource tooltips to storage picker slots

Adjustments

* Slightly increased the walk speed of villagers
* Slightly decreased the resource harvest time for basic resources
* Noticeably reduced the frequency of the Rutai stone wall quest

Bugs fixed

* Fixed an edge case where a villager could reserve the last berry forever
* Fixed several issues with pathfinding over bridges
* Fixed several issues with pathfinding over resource deposits
* Fixed a case where two buildings would lock off each others entrances if built with a path running through one of their entrances
* Fixed several cases where villagers would report getting stuck
* Fixed some untranslated texts
* Fixed a case where you could store more than the allowed number of resources in a storage building by simply typing it
* Fixed a bug that could cause the game to seem soft-locked if starting the game without Steam running
* Resized bread so it is no longer enormous
