The Front Closed Beta Test ended at 00:00 on September 10th UTC, and the servers have now been closed. The game data from this test will also be erased.

Although the testing period was short, we deeply felt the enthusiasm and support from all of you. We greatly appreciate your understanding and tolerance for the imperfect test version. We have diligently recorded every issue and constructive suggestion you provided. We will try our best in optimizing the game, and continue to develop new content. We are looking forward to give you a better experience next time.

After the test has ended, we may select a few of the players who submitted the most helpful feedback and send them official game keys upon the game's release.

We are switching to the Steam Playtest feature to proccess all the test applications now. Players can apply for the Closed Beta test directly on The Front's Steam page, and we will be granting access to players depending on the server capacity. Those who get selected will receive a notification email from Steam. 'The Front Playtest' app will also appear in your Steam library.

Players qualified for the test prior to this announcement can still continue to DM the designated Discord staff member mentioned in the confirmation mail for an activation code.

The test is extended until September 9th. We will be allocating our limited manpower to community management and test feedback collection.

We are excited to announce our project’s first Closed Beta! The Closed Beta test will be held from September 3rd to September 8th, and servers will be available in North America, Europe, and Asia regions. Our objective for this beta test is to collect player feedback on game content and gameplay to aid development.

To commemorate this occasion, we have also prepared a brand new trailer.

The Closed Beta Test will run from 14:00 UTC on September 3 until September 8, lasting a total of 5 days. We may adjust this period as needed, according to the actual situation.

[h2]How Do I join the Closed Beta[/h2]

We are still accepting new participants for the beta, you can submit your application here, we will notify you by emails and Discord once you got selected.



If you received an email like this, then follow the instructions to join our official Discord and direct message the designated The Front staff member for your activation key.



Once you have acquired the activation key from our staff member, open your Steam client, go to the Steam library page, and redeem your code to start downloading the game. Please note that the test will begin on September 3rd. Before this date, you will only be able to pre-download the game.





[h2]Features and Gameplay[/h2]

• Tower defense gameplay – Set up traps and defenses, including catapults, spikes, pendulums, meat grinders, electric shock mechanisms, and poison gas spray, to neutralize enemy hordes.
  
• Build your own modern vehicles – Timber trucks, mining trucks, harvesters, tanks, helicopters and more.
  
• Logical circuits – Use simple electrical parts to create complex mechanisms to accomplish various objectives, such as an active defense system that detects and attacks any incoming threats near your base automatically.
  
• Various terrains and environments including plains, mountains, deserts, rain forests, snowy landscapes, and swamps.
  
• Develop your own agriculture with irrigation, farming, and dozens of cooking recipes.
  
• Befriend NPCs with various special skills, including shields, stone throwing, and elite monsters armed with rocket launchers.
  
• Tons of weapons, including recurve bows, shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, rotary machine guns, rocket launchers, remote-controlled bombs, shoulder-launched anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft missiles and more.
