[Dev’s Note] Season 1.5 Major System Update – Part 1
Hello, Crush Crew! 🤗
We’re excited to follow up on our previous developer note and share more details about the direction Season 1.5 is heading too!
The central theme of this update is “Intuitive Gameplay.”
We’ve listened to your feedback regarding the challenges and clarity of certain mechanics,
and this update is designed to address those concerns. 📝
Let’s explore the first part of the upcoming updates for Battle Crush! 📖
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1️⃣ Combat Mechanism Improvements ⚔️
In this update, we’re adjusting the Stamina System, a core element of the game’s difficulty.
While managing stamina is vital for success and reflects a player’s skill, we’ve heard your feedback that it can sometimes feel overly challenging, which detracts from the enjoyment of the game.
To enhance your gameplay experience, we are implementing the following changes:
Light Attack Improvements:
- Before: Stamina was consumed with each hit.
- After: Stamina will now only be consumed on the final hit of a light attack combo. (For instance, Hades and Nyx will only consume stamina on the fourth hit of their light attack combo.)
Heavy Attack Improvements:
- Before: Heavy attacks consumed stamina.
- After: Heavy attacks will no longer consume stamina and will now be cooldown-based. (Cooldown durations will vary based on Calixer balance.)
Other actions, such as aerial jumps, dive attacks, and dodge attacks, will continue to consume stamina as before.

2️⃣ Equipment System Improvements ⛑️
The equipment system introduces variables that can affect battle outcomes through farming, giving certain players an edge. However, we’ve identified two key areas that require improvement:
First: The influence of equipment farming on game outcomes is too significant. Players often avoid early combat, waiting for a safer chance to farm, which can take away from the core excitement of Battle Crush.
Second: Understanding the functions of various items can be challenging due to the overwhelming number of options available, making it difficult to manage equipment effects in fast-paced gameplay.
To address these issues, we’ve streamlined the equipment system by significantly reducing the number of available choices, making them clearer and easier to grasp. We hope these changes will help players focus more on the thrill of combat!

Gear Enhancement System Improvements
- Before: Gear was enhanced to +1 when acquiring duplicates of the same gear and replaced when farming higher-grade gear.
- After: We've introduced an enhancement and breakthrough system using gear experience points.
Removal of Early-Game Mythic Gear Farming
- Mythic-grade gear will now only appear in the later stages of gameplay.
Reduction of Equipment Slots
- Before: Weapon / Armor / Helmet / Gloves / Boots / Accessories [6 slots]
- After: Weapon / Armor / Accessories [3 slots]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3️⃣ Revival System Enhancements 👻
The revival system in Battle Crush can be challenging for less experienced players.
When a teammate is knocked out far away, retrieving their soulstone and reviving them at a statue can be difficult, especially during intense battles.
Our updated revival system aims to minimize frustration and downtime, allowing players to get back into action more quickly.
Key changes include:
- Soulstone Removal: When a teammate is knocked out, their soulstone will no longer drop.
- Revival Statue Improvement: Remaining teammates can now interact with the statue to revive their teammate without soulstones.
- Auto-Revival System:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are the key updates for Season 1.5 that we wanted to share with you first.
In addition to these changes, we’re also working on broader improvements to enhance the overall Battle Crush experience. 😊
As we continue to develop and implement these updates, we remain committed to listening to your feedback and maintaining open communication with our community.
We’ll strive to meet your expectations and deliver meaningful enhancements.
Stay tuned for our next developer note, coming soon!
Thank you. 🙏

- Gear experience can also be gained by collecting Stamina Bubbles (with experience increasing as waves progress).
- Upon reaching a certain amount of experience, gear will be enhanced by +1.
- Once a specific enhancement level is reached, the gear will break through to the next grade. (However, Legendary and Mythic gear are not eligible for breakthroughs.)
Removal of Early-Game Mythic Gear Farming
- Mythic-grade gear will now only appear in the later stages of gameplay.
Reduction of Equipment Slots
