Fixed an issue with the fireball spell that had a compatibility problem with upgraded/optimized 2D light handling.
Rebalanced the mana shot spell; while it is still somewhat ineffective, it is not as underpowered as before. The reasoning is that, while the mana shot spell served as a placeholder item to catch item pool overflow cases, once obtained, it entered your starting spell item pool. This made it much more accessible than intended. Therefore, we adjusted the power level of the mana shot spell along with some of its features (wall detect, speed variation, etc).
Spell Disk 0.5.6b
Internally reworked the headband accessory to address extreme cases error. It functionally remains unchanged.
Adjusted the timing of enemy summoning during boss encounters; enemies will now only begin spawning after the boss cutscene concludes.
Modified the interval between summons for the boss's minions. The interval increases with the number of alive minions.
Raised the maximum auto-summon cap for minions from 11 to 12.
Spell Disk 0.5.6a hotfix
Fixed a bug that the headband accessory sometimes caused due to the excessive luck it provided.
Spell Disk 0.5.6 Update
Added three new accessories which can be obtained by defeating specific enemies in the Citadel (3rd stages):
Headband.
Sunglasses.
Magic Hood.
Optimized the way outfits and accessories are loaded in the wardrobe.
Optimized the unlock requirement checking functions for outfits and accessories.
Decreased the space between the outfits and the accessories in the wardrobe to be closer to each other.
Upon pressing up or down on the first or last item in the wardrobe list, the selection will now loop to the opposite end of the list instead of getting stuck.
Added an index number indicator for all outfits and accessories in the wardrobe.
Outfits and accessories will show an enemy portrait if the requirement to unlock them specifies that certain enemies must be defeated, which will replace the default lock icon in the wardrobe.
Also, Steam's new update seems to trigger a pop-up box suggesting that you should use a gamepad controller to play the game. While we do recommend playing Spell Disk with a controller if you have one, it's not a necessity, and you can still play with your keyboard and mouse as you did before.
Spell Disk 0.5.5d
Fixed an issue where the screen would sometimes shake left and right every frame during forced camera movement (in the tutorial or in the boss intro).
Adjusted camera shake presets and movements. Our goal was to reduce the randomness of the shake to minimize motion sickness that some players experienced with the screen shake. Screen shake direction is now either set or follows the direction of the hit, rather than a random direction with some minor influence.
Fixed a graphical error with the pumpkin head accessory.
Corrected the description of the cold pants artifact to align with its current behavior.
Fixed the descriptions of Totem Maker artifacts in certain languages.
