Spell Disk 0.5.2c hotfix

  • Optimized and fixed issues that occurred with the new elemental outfits (pyromancer outfit & electromancer outfit), where their abilities would be fail to activate after meeting certain conditions.

Spell Disk 0.5.2b hotfix

  • Changed the Pyromancer Hat accessory behavior. It will now only convert spell damage into fire affliction. This change was made to reduce frustrating situations where near-fire-immune enemies would hinder progress for a significant amount of time.
  • Changed the Bonecage Amulet's behavior to apply all respective elements instead of just the fire element. Increased its rarity from 2 stars to 4 stars.
  • Fixed Jester's Fleeting Foot to reset its movement speed on dash, addressing a case where players could retain the speed buff even after releasing the charge.
  • Fixed an image error with the Archer's outfit. Now, the player will properly wear boots.
  • Fixed an issue where the last image frame of the teleport animation in Survivor mode would be stuck to the player.
  • Fixed an issue where auto-casting would sometimes be disabled upon sudden weapon mana gain from other sources.

Spell Disk 0.5.2a hotfix

  • Fixed an error where the player's current image at the end screen would appear as a white box (tofu?) when using certain new accessories or certain weapons by resetting the image data again.
  • Fixed an issue with multiple error logs when too many spatial sounds were called by certain enemies (Fire Wizard, Laser Sorceress, Red Knight, and Warrior Captain).
  • Corrected some typos and capitalization inconsistencies in certain descriptions.

Spell Disk 0.5.2 Update

  • Added new outfits and accessories:
  • Pyromancer Hat.
  • Frost Hair Stick.
  • Thunder Halo.
  • Pyromancer Outfit.
  • Cryomancer Outfit.
  • Electromancer Outfit.
  • You can unlock them by defeating the Construct bosses (second boss).

  • Added the best danger level recorder for weapons, outfits, and accessories. While the weapon's best danger level was recorded in previous versions, the danger levels for outfits and accessories will only be recorded starting from version 0.5.2.
  • Added a text indicator for automatic weapon casting.
  • Adjusted the outline and shadow images of the wardrobe.
  • Fixed an issue with the hammer's charge animation.

Spell Disk 0.5.1b hotfix

  • Fixed an issue where the Elemental Echo artifact and certain other items ramped up their damage until it overflowed into the negative. This issue had been occurring for some time but only became noticeable due to recent internal changes. Prior to version 0.5.1a, damage numbers only appeared when the damage part of the hit exceeded 0. This meant that a billion affliction value and zero damage would result in billions of affliction damage but wouldn't display a damage number to indicate it. To circumvent this issue, some artifacts like elemental cape artifacts and gazer artifacts had "0.0001" damage components to display affliction damage numbers. In 0.5.1a, this was fixed--If enough affliction was dealt to produce damage, it would display a damage number regardless of its damage component. Which means in the older versions, the billion affliction damage was not visible. This issue may have been contributing to crashes and other performance problems because combining these infinitely ramping items with 'affliction disk' or 'damage disk' could generate an unreasonable amount of mana. It has now been fixed. Thank you for your feedback.

  • The lobby scene will load after the player's data has been properly changed. Changing the classes while the player was able to control the character was prone to causing some issues.
  • Fixed a rare case in which accessory equipment could be set to "nothing" when continuing the ongoing game from the main menu.
  • Also, fixed an issue where the Assassin's mask accessory was displaying as a default image even though it had no effects or hadn't been unlocked.
  • Fixed a quick fade transition that was not occurring in the main menu.
  • Fixed an issue that occurred with the outfit and accessory during the first-time clearing of the run event.
