After an exciting 4-week run, we've decided to temporarily deactivate our demo as we work on some major improvements.



Here's what's coming later this year:

🎮 The Mansion Level:
Step into a mesmerizing dream sequence set in the coolest level of the game—no more starting in the apartment/lake!


👩‍🎤 Brunilda:
Meet Brunilda, a central character who will soon make her debut in our story.

🔫 CRGS (Combat & Resource Gathering System):
Gather ammo, collect resources, and upgrade your gun as you explore cyborg-infested city of North Terrace.

🧩Additional puzzles: we will be adding a few more puzzles and environmental interactions to keep each level interesting.



🆙 Unity 6 Upgrade:
We're moving from Unity 2021 to Unity 6 to boost graphical fidelity and improve character detail.

We were burning the midnight oil to participate in February’s Steam NextFest, but we're glad we opted out. This decision lets us focus on delivering an even better experience for our audience at a NextFest later this year.

New fixes:

-Fixed soft lock bug where aiming during walk mode made you stuck in first person.

-Adjusted Gun Recoil.

-Fixed bug where your car floated very high in the air above TLAB.

-Add improved hand pose to pistol.

-Improved auto-aim and passive aim logic

Hello everyone,

Thank you to everyone who has checked out the Alter Evo demo so far! We've noticed that many players are dropping off within the first 10 minutes, so we're making some changes to improve retention.

We are officially adding Gun Combat to improve the fun and play-ability of enemy sections.

We are making game flow and narrative improvements across the board.

All of these changes will be released on February 13th.

We will leave the demo up in it's current form until then.

We are excited to announce the new Alter Evo Demo 2025 is ready to play!

We've been hard at work this week collecting feedback and improving the demo. We can't wait for you to check it out!

What's the new demo like?

Step into the strange, futuristic city of North Terrace where danger lurks at every turn. In this gripping 30-minute demo, Evo finds himself at a breaking point. His unhinged landlord demands he pay his overdue rent or face dire consequences. Can a job interview at a seedy tech startup turn his luck around, or does his therapist hold the key to his survival?

Meanwhile, the city of North Terrace is under siege by a surge of terrifying Negative Agents.

Will Evo find a way out, or will the city consume him?

What You’ll Do in the Demo:

Drive Through the Wasteland: Navigate the eerie, bullet-scarred streets of North Terrace in your hover truck.

Wander Mysterious Spaces: Explore Evo’s unsettling apartment, where every detail hints at a deeper mystery.

Interact with Characters: Meet your therapist Dr. Cid, AJ the goth, her boss the CEO, and many more.

Face Danger in the Dark: Confront shadowy enemies in a tense nighttime encounter at the water treatment plant.
