INSOMNIA RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED!

Hello gamers! I'm proud to announce that INSOMNIA's full game will be released in June 2024!

Has been a long journey for me as a solo-dev, I've encountered many problems and obstacles along my development but I'm super happy that I'll be finally able to release my first video game ever made.

Your feedback has been very helpful and I'm working on making the game more fluid in terms of notes, tutorials, and other things.

The game for now, will be english only. But I'm planning to add more languages for the game after release. This includes Italian, Spanish, Ukranian, Russian and others.

I will (of course) also implement a custom mode where you can make your customized level and suffer your own nightmare! (after beating the main game of course).

Overall improvement

Hello horror players!

We gathered your feedback and improved some features in the game.

- The basement is now smaller and will have one less fusebox.
- There will be a demonic relic at the start of Hour 0 to make you understand what is the item that you have to be looking for.
- Camera block at the beginning of a level is back to make sure you are watching at the right place when you start.
- Hour 1-2 level design has been improved.
- Minor updates.

NEW DEMO PATCH | Prologue changes, Rebalance, Revamp Font

Hello players!
Thank you for playing INSOMNIA!
I received many feedback and I decided to fix the problems that people hated the most.

-Prologue changes: I changed the notes making them shorter, converted one of the notes into thought and got rid of that font that you hated forever! (After all, no one wants to stay reading while playing a demo isn't it?)

-Also, we increased the Music Box spawn timer in Hour 2! Now the doll will be less oppressive and the music box won't trigger together with the basement blackout!

NEW PATCH! (Game Balance and Communication)

Hello, horror gamers!

I received many feedbacks from you and I'm extremely glad about it. Feedback is so important in every environment of life and without it, we would never figure out where we're doing wrong.

Thanks for your feedback we understood that many players are having a hard time figuring out the goal of the game or how to survive the night in INSOMNIA. That's why we released a new patch that will help with this issue.

The patch will include:

-Pop-up message telling the fundamental controls of the game. (This will be available in the Prologue only to not ruin your immersion in the rest of the Demo.)

-An additional note in the Prologue to make you understand what are the steps to take.

-The sound cue range of the killer is bigger and its movement speed has been slightly reduced. We also added proximity sound. You won't be frustrated anymore by finding him in front of you and getting killed. (Careful to sound cues!)

-Riddle notes are now reworked and the keywords on how to counter a certain nightmare are highlighted in read for those who don't want to read the whole note.

-Fuseboxes in the basement now have a flickering LED when the blackout happens in order to be spotted easily.

-General level corrections.
