1.0.6 Hotfix

  • Added a warning pop-up for starting a new game when you have a saved checkpoint.

  • Fixed ambience and audio attenuation levels when zoomed out.

  • Fixed an issue where loading a checkpoint with an upgrade Pre-placed Defenses causing an error.
  • Fixed an issue where upgrading a pre-placed Defenses would remove their pre-placed indicator.
  • Fixed an issue where Orbital Cannon's Global Upgrade was granting bonus damage from Blockers.
  • Fixed a display error where Network would appear to recieve attack speed and damage buffs from other sources.
  • Fixed Backtrack and Radiation Cloud not being available in the Map Editor loadout menu.
  • Fixed a visual issue where Mines and Traps would appear to be "hovering" in the Map Editor.
  • Fixed an issue where Mine and Traps blocked the path in the Map Editor.
  • Fixed a potential issue with Avenger and Linked Squadron causing an error when leaking.
  • Fixed an issue with some of the optional objectives in Campaign not counting properly towards the achievements.
  • Fixed an issue where the third cutscene's subtitles were missing.
  • Fixed an issue where the initial difficulty selection in the campaign was missing tooltips.
  • Fixed a tooltip error where AoE was listed in seconds.

Post-Release Content Plans

Just under two weeks ago, we released Version 1.0 of Axon TD: Uprising, and so far, it's been well received! We've seen a good surge of new players and discussions on our forums and our Discord.

We'd like to share with you a sneak peek of what we're working on. Behold:

[h2]December Update[/h2]


One of the most requested features we've seen is a PvP Mode where you can send Axons at the opponent, and that's exactly what we're working on!

You'll choose your Loadout just like Survival: a couple of Defenses and your Overloads, and then unlock the rest as you go. Additionally, maps will be procedurally generated.

That's all we can share for now. Look forward to a more in-depth preview of the PvP Mode in November!

[h2]Q1 Update[/h2]


We're also working on adding free Skins (no microtransactions) to the game, so you'll be able to customize the looks of your Defenses, as well as a profile with detailed stat tracking. And for those of you that enjoy Survival Co-op, there'll be a new map that really tests your mettle.

And of course, on each of these updates, expect the usual set of QoL, Fixes, and Balance updates, as well as new Quickplay & Co-op Maps.

[h2]General[/h2]
  • Updated the UI for 4k resolutions.
  • Added additional stats to the Game Over screen.


[h2]Campaign[/h2]
  • Nerfed mission "Beta" slightly in the early waves.
  • Added preview images to all the missions in the Campaign overworld map.
  • Added a "Back" button to the initial Difficulty selection.


[h2]Survival[/h2]
  • Two Sides nerfed a little bit overall. This will desync older replays on the leaderboard significantly, sorry for the inconvenience, but it's more importanant to us that it can actually be enjoyed by more people.

  • Slightly adjusted the indicator color for Defense buffs.


[h2]Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue where the achievement "All Decked Out" randomly would unlock.
  • Fixed an issue where if you viewed a Quickplay, Co-op or Survival leaderboard replay, it would jump you back to the main menu instead of the menu you were previously in when you quit out of the replay.
  • Fixed an issue where if you tried to load a checkpoint just as the current wave ended, it would save that as the current checkpoint before you could go back to your previous one.
  • Fixed an issue where Pre-placed Defenses couldn't manually target.

  • Reduced the difficulty on specific waves for missions 30, 31, 32, 34 and 35.

  • Fixed a map editor submission issue related to file access restricitons.
  • Special thanks to user Drefar for helping debug this.*
  • Fixed an issue where Bosses' path wasn't set up correctly in custom maps.
  • Fixed a FormatException caused by doing a blank input in Map Editor value fields.
  • Fixed an issue with the "Slow Exit" Tech not getting applied in a specific level in the Campaign.
  • Fixed an issue with Command Link U3 Power generation.
  • Fixed an issue where repair debuffs weren't applying to Repairers and Advanced Repairers.
  • Fixed an issue where you ended up with the wrong Overloads unlocked in the Campaign and you couldn't unlock new ones due to a switch in the unlock order with update 1.0.
  • Fixed resetting your Campaign progress not working properly(required a game restart before).
  • Fixed an issue where indicators were flickering due to Anti-aliasing.
  • Fixed the Shadows graphics setting not getting saved.

  • Fixed an issue where Reverser would leak to the wrong checkpoint if it had been lifted.
  • Fixed a NullReferenceException caused by Network tower.
  • Fixed an ArgumentOutOfRangeException caused by Meta Techs when jumping waves in replays.
  • Fixed an issue where placing down an Expand before picking up the "Path Manipulation" Meta Tech reward would get the game stuck.
  • Fixed an issue where the leaderboards wouldn't automatically refresh when coming out of a Quickplay or Survival session.
  • Fixed an issue in the Campaign mission Bastion where two of the Portable Generators didn't work.
  • Fixed an issue with the ranking order of Co-op leaderboards.
  • Fixed not being able to change the targeting priority of neutral active towers.
  • Fixed Blast Cannon U1 not updating its range indicator when hovered over.
