Patch v0.47 (Patch notes) - Risky update before launch

Greetings!

I like living on the edge. This time I'm doing it by releasing an update couple of hours before the release. I just had to do it. I got the "Mini Bosses" feature functioning (as it seems) and also some bug fixes, which I wanted to address.

Patchnotes below:

Please note that the controller is kind of supported now. But for best gaming experience, I suggest using keyboard only. You may encounter some funny stuff within the user interface, if even having a controller plugged in.

- Added round range indicator to characters (Easier to see how far you can strike)
- Added randomly spawning "Mini Bosses" - There is a 5% chance that any enemy that spawns is a "Mini Boss" - which has high attributes and deals massive damage. It also glows.
- Enemy Kabook Detonation was dealing flat damage, it should now scale depending on it's level and elements
- Mughi had lost it's vision and was no longer chasing the player, instead, running around aimlessly. Should now have its vision back.
- Dart was dealing flat damage on rocket hit. Should now be fixed to deal damage accordining his own damage. (Before was flat 50)

Small update - Seeker: Quest v0.46

Hey!

Just a quick update to address some issues, but also add a small layer of polish. Some of the items below:

- Added effects for Arena Island bosses when they spawn
- Changed Leer Norzu boss bullet behavior (it slows now and destroys when hitting walls)
- Changed sizes for both Arena Island bosses (Quard & Isegon)
- Disabled player being able to move when dead (could do it for couple of seconds)
- Added more power to hero ability Wild Bag (from 1 to 5)
- Changed dialogue "Let's scout that forest..." to "Let's scout that island" - referring to Haven Island
- Added more controller support visuals. (Information for player which button works and such, still some scenes are missing the information, ex. hatching scene + score)
- Added soud effects for Cruone, Isegon, Mughi, Quard (Death + take hit sounds)
- Changed Mughi behavior so that it chases the player more often (cooldown decreased by 3 seconds)

Looking forward to tomorrows release!

Br,
Klaus

Meet the Seekers - The Seekers of Seeker: Quest

🐾 Meet the Seekers in Seeker: Quest! 🐾

In Seeker: Quest, every character you encounter in the wild could join your team—or stand in your way. Each Seeker is fully playable, with their own unique abilities, attributes, and quirks. Building your team isn’t just strategy—it’s about creating a squad that feels just right for your adventure.
šŸŽ® Gameplay Highlights
• Pick Your Team: Start your journey by choosing three Seekers to form your team.
  • Seamless Seeker Switching: Press W mid-battle to pause the game and select the best Seeker for the situation. Take your time—strategize, plan, and jump back into the action when you’re ready.
  • Abilities That Matter: Each Seeker has attributes, a passive ability (coming in Big Update #1), and a unique Active ability to turn the tide of battle.

It’s a cozy mix of action and strategy that lets you play at your own pace while still keeping things exciting!
🦸 Your First Hero and Seeker
At the start of Seeker: Quest, you’ll choose a hero and their paired Seeker to kick off your journey. Think PokĆ©mon, but without the professor—the first Seeker comes with your chosen Hero.
  • Hero: Draven, Seeker: Batterim
Batterim is your tank, taking hits and dealing them right back with his Sylvan Orb, a circling bullet storm. He’s a bit of a know-it-all, but you’ll appreciate his reliability.
  • Hero: Nama’Ghal, Seeker: Grub
Grub might be slimy and smelly, but his Poison Trail leaves a cloud of damage for enemies. He’s not big on personality—think full-grown vegetable levels of charm—but he’s undeniably effective.
  • Hero: Azrael, Seeker: Shaola
Shaola’s calm and spiritual nature belies his strength. His Spiritual Ground ability heals allies and damages enemies, making him a quiet but powerful force in battle.
🌟 Discover More Seekers!
Batterim, Grub, and Shaola are just the beginning. As you explore Naturia, you’ll encounter even more Seekers to add to your roster, including:
  • Isegon: A frost guardian who chills enemies to the bone.
  • Flox: Fast and fiery with an explosive personality.
  • Kabook: A bomb-like Seeker that delivers high-risk, high-reward damage.
  • And maybe even... the legendary Leerking?!

Each new Seeker adds to the cozy-yet-chaotic fun of building your ultimate team.

What to Expect in Seeker: Quest Early Access
Seeker: Quest Early Access Release Date: December 12, 2024
Now that we’ve revealed the Early Access release date (within our latest announcement), let's dive into what Seeker: Quest will offer from day one!
New Seekers
There will be dozens of collectible and playable characters added regularly, each with unique abilities and attributes. Some will even join your team as enemies first, making the hunt for them even more exciting!

When we go live with the Early Access, there will be around 20 Seekers you can challenge and eventually unlock! (By the way, we are arranging some Seeker designing competitions on our Discord. Be sure to join!)
New Levels & Challenges
The first island is ready for you to explore, but more islands and challenging content will come with Big Updates. The first "Big Update" will introduce a second island, and so on.

On each of these "Big Updates" I try to bring in as much content as possible for you to enjoy on one sitting (or maybe multiple?). So in case you decide to jump into the early access from day 1, there will be almost monthly updates for you to come back and enjoy once you've completed the previous content.
Story & Dialogue
The main character, Ive, leads the rebellion with her crew of exiled warrior, Draven. The warmongering and hate driven Sylvan Mage, Azrael and the nature loving potion crafter, Naman'Ghal. Within the first "chapter" aka. Early Access release, the story will include journey towards the discovery of the "Leer Temple" and what it is for.

Expect tons of dialogue updates and story expansion as we add more islands and deepen the characters’ backgrounds.

Are you ready to dive in? Be sure to wishlist Seeker: Quest and keep an eye on the announcements on our Discord channel.

The adventure begins soon!
