State of the ModHub: 4,500 Mods for FS25!

It's been little over a year, and the official ModHub counts more than 4,500 mods available to download in Farming Simulator 25 since launch. That's a great display of passion and commitment from our modding community and, in short, we just want to say one thing:

THANK YOU!

To put it into perspective, this makes up for 60% of the mods that were released for Farming Simulator 22 in total (and in over three years), underlining how the community is growing. Of course, this doesn't count in all the other mod projects out there, like popular maps every fan has heard of.

No matter how you count and compare, few games see this high amount of user-generated content and dedication from its creator community, especially that soon after launch. With your contribution, Farming Simulator itself is growing, becoming whatever you want it to be.

COMMITTING TO MODS

Farming Simulator and the GIANTS Engine were conceived with mods in mind, and the fact that thousands of mods have been downloaded millions of times worldwide is not only reassuring, but also means that this success is destined to continue - and we're just as committed!

If you want to learn more about how we handle modding and why, check out our past article about our philosophy and learn how we test the mods:

Thanks to the crossplay-functionality, thousands of mods available on PC and consoles. At the same time, we're constantly improving modding tools, documentation, and internal testing workflows shaped by your feedback - all while hands-on testing your contributions through our QA team.

"We are grateful for the continued trust of the modding community and are thrilled to see that almost 90% of mods are now available on all platforms. Mods play a central role in keeping games interesting in the long run. At the same time, modding motivates many to become creative at an early age, develop technical skills, and perhaps even take the first step toward developing their own games."

Marcel Renke, UGC Platform Specialist @ GIANTS Software

Content Update #4 feat. John Deere 9RX 830 & Steiger Special Edition

[p]
We released the free Content Update #4 for Farming Simulator 25. Patch 1.15 included! We're adding real powerhouses of machinery from John Deere and Case IH for everyone. And you've been asking for them. Check them out below!

Please Note! The patch is being rolled out across platforms. It can take some time until the update becomes available on your system. Crossplay services may be affected in the meantime.

John Deere’s Most Powerful Tractor

We're introducing the John Deere 9RX Series (710-830). With the 9RX 830 top-configuration, you can operate John Deere’s current top-end articulated four‑track tractor that only rolled onto real fields last year.

Built for very large-scale, high-draft tillage, seeding, and heavy implement work, it combines an 18‑liter Deere engine, high-capacity hydraulics, and a heavy, high-traction chassis - making it the biggest, most powerful tractor in Farming Simulator 25.

Special Edition: Power in Lime Green

With Case IH, another fan-favorite brand spotlights this content update, spearheaded with the Steiger 715-785 Quadtrac Special Edition. Rather than red, the customary Case IH color, this special Quadtrac comes painted in lime green - a nod to the original color of the iconic Steiger brand that has become an integral part of Case IH.

While this agricultural giant adds another machine to the large tractor category, the Patriot 4450 and Vestrum Series are also introduced in the iconic red color of Case IH, providing more compact solutions for a variety of tasks.
