City Builder Fest update: New levels available! (1.1.0)

Hey everyone!

To celebrate the City-Builder Fest, I've added two new levels for you to enjoy:
  • "Nothingness": A puzzle that is quite empty.
  • "Mountain Chain": A curious expeditions with way too many mountains.

I've also fixed a few more bugs based on your reports!

The game is on sale, so now’s a great time for your friends to jump in. Hope you have fun with the new levels!

Take care,

- Darenn

You can now collect Dawnfolk's Community Items!

Hey everyone!

Some of you have been asking for Steam Community Items for Dawnfolk since day one, and I’m excited to finally bring them to you!

Why weren’t they available from the start?
Not every game gets access to Community Items right away. A game needs to reach a certain level of popularity before unlocking the feature: and I’m proud to say that Dawnfolk made the cut! I gained access about two weeks ago and got to work on it immediately.

Here's what you can unlock:
  • 15 Trading Cards
  • 10 Emoticons
  • 3 Profile Backgrounds
  • 6 Badges (including one foil badge!)
How do you get them?
You can find out more about Steam Trading Cards here.

Just teasing, but I'm cooking something for next Monday...

Take care,

- Darenn

Improvements:
  1. Turn-based mode: You can force the game to always pause time by default, allowing you to play completely turn based without stopping the game animations. The option is in the accessibility menu.
  2. The game auto saves every 10 days.
  3. Puzzles now show you which rank you got directly in the menu (bronze star, silver star or gold star)
  4. You can force the game to use the glyphs from Xbox, Playstation or Switch controllers.
  5. Added warning message to warn player that cheats disable achievements and rewards.
  6. You can also destroy volcanoes with the research from the miner's guild.
  7. Orc camps are now cheaper to fight and more expansive to make peace with.
  8. Pray icon change
  9. Changed the descriptions of the Farm and Animals science buildings
  10. Mouse is forced in the middle of the screen when activating it to avoid loosing the main menu (you can press escape to come back to the center).
  11. Enter key on keyboard can be used instead of space
  12. Backspace key on keyboard can be used instead of escape to leave the action menu.
  13. Bigger pan with the mouse
  14. Video and Sound parameters are not synced on the steam cloud. This allows you to play on different computers with different settings.
  15. Volcanoes have better chance of erupting in puzzle maps.

Bug fixes:
  1. Fixed a bug that would make market/pray/dragon prices not increase in endless
  2. Fixed orcs moonwalking in fight mini-games
  3. Fixed price of arks
  4. A lot more smaller ones reported on discord
