Hello all!
Well, we are very close to TerraTech Worldsâ Early Access now, which will be launching TODAY (Friday March 22nd) at 6 PM GMT.
Prior to the launch of Early Access, we have some important updates and information to share with you, to help get you into the game quickly and start you off on the right foot as you venture into unexplored territories for the first time:
In-Game Progression
We know that âstarting from scratchâ is an important aspect of Survivalcraft games, so we wanted to let you know that weâve done some work and your task progression is now saved per planet as opposed to per player, so your task list will now start over from the beginning each time you start fresh on a new planet.
Weâve also added a button in the options menu to reset the block progression, so that you can decide to start fresh with no blocks already unlocked if youâd like to.
The one thing that will stay the same between planets is your money total: this canât be reset, and will just grow between planets. Make it rain!
To give a bit of context into why/how this is happening: we were working on a âprofileâ progression that continues between planets, (this is why licensed blocks and money do not reset between planets) but it wasnât ready for EA launch so weâve had to backtrack a little until we can complete it.

Understanding the Objectives Panel
Weâre working on making objectives and rewards clearer and simpler to complete/obtain, but as we continue development work on this part of the game, we thought it might be useful to explain a few things about the current state of objectives in TerraTech Worlds:
- The objectives panel is your best friend if youâre stuck on any task in TerraTech Worlds! You can find more detailed information on your active tasks by reading whatâs on the objectives panel: this will tell you things like required ingredients for tasks which may not appear on the task pop-ups.
- The objectives panel is also where youâll claim rewards for completing tasks, which (in some cases!) youâll need to progress further in your next tasks. If youâre stuck wondering where to get something you need to progress, make sure youâve checked (and claimed!) all of your rewards!
- There are also different task âtracksâ that you can complete: by default, youâll see the âProspectorâ one, but thereâs others that you can switch between which will have different tasks and rewards. If youâre stuck wondering where to get something you need to progress, make sure youâve checked all the different available tracks and claimed all of your rewards!

Bug Reporting
My game crashed! What do I do?Please submit the crash report that pops up after providing a quick description of what you were doing at the time: for example, âI was in the Tutorial planet and started to mine some Hematite. My game crashed once I split the seam of the Hematite rock.â
You should be able to simply re-open the game and keep playing: weâre trying to keep all crashes to a minimum as we progress through Early Access, but letting us know what you were doing at the time the crash happened will help us to squish any bugs even more quickly!
Something looks odd/Iâm not sure itâs working as intended! The best way to find out the most up-to-date information on known issues and to submit bugs is through the TerraTech Worlds official Discord server.
Once youâve joined, youâll want to head to the Bug Reports Forum and have a quick look through to see if anyoneâs already posted your issue. If they have, you can upvote or comment on their post to say youâre seeing the same thing. If not, feel free to make a new thread within the Forum to let us know, and our Devs will take a look at it ASAP!
If you donât want to use Discord, you can also head over to the Steam Discussions page for TerraTech Worlds and report any issues youâre having there.
Troubleshooting
As we continue to develop TerraTech Worlds through Early Access, you may see some things working not-quite-as-intended as we add and update features based on your feedback. Please do submit a Bug Report as detailed above, but here are a few things to try out/look into if you encounter any issues whilst playing:

The minimum specs for TerraTech Worlds are:

I have another issue/you didnât answer my question! Please email
with the following three piece of information:
- A description of the problem youâre having (including what you actually see onscreen).
- The full specification of your computer (Operating system, processor, RAM, graphics card). To check your PC hardware specs, click on the Windows Start button, then click on Settings (the gear icon). In the Settings menu, click on System. Scroll down and click on About. On this screen, you should see specs for your processor, Memory (RAM), and other system info.
- The error log generated by TerraTech Worlds. You can find this at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pandora\TT2\Saved\Logs.
Misc. Known Issues
- If you overclock or undervolted your machine, you may run into some crashes within the game regarding D3D errors. This is inherent to the Unreal Engine, and is seen in other games using the same engine. We found disabling the overclocking on our PCs internally to remedy the issue, but take that with a pinch of salt.
- There are some audio bugs/issues in the game relating to USB and Bluetooth headsets, so we would avoid using these for the time being if possible. We are actively working on fixing this!
- Rebinding controls does not currently work as planned if you are not using a QWERTY keyboard
- Camera height is difficult and unable to be adjusted.
- Sometimes the inventory can get stuck and become unusable. We are currently investigating this issue.
Thanks: we can't wait for you to play later today!
