Constance at Tokyo Game Show!

Exciting news! We're showcasing Constance at the Tokyo Game Show this week—come say Hi! 💜
Along with this, we've just rolled out a patch adding Japanese and Simplified Chinese translations to the current demo! 🎉

Demo Patch Notes (0.2.1)

Hiii,
we just released a new demo update on Steam! It’s mainly a collection of fixes and tweaks based on community feedback and issues we noticed during Gamescom.

Patch notes
  • The Low Health Effect (visuals & audio) now fades out over time, maintaining the initial impact but gradually fading into the background if you can't heal quickly.
  • Fixed an issue where the Corruption/Low Health vignette displayed a large black blob in the center of the screen on some devices.
  • Fixed stab direction input when using the D-Pad.
  • Fixed collision issues (player being crushed when dash at a wall, bonking the ground after a dive, hitting a horizontal secret wall with an upward stab).
  • Fixed the speedrun timer not restarting properly
  • Minor level design adjustments.
  • Various minor visual fixes.

New Demo at Gamescom 2024

Demo Patch Notes (v2311161734)

As we showcase Constance at Vienna Comic Con this weekend, we're releasing a small update for the demo.
The main change is with the Slice mechanic – now, it activates instantly without needing to enter aim mode. Let us know what you think!

Patch notes
  • Reworked the Slice ability to trigger instantly.
    The slice destination is now indicated by a purple arrow.
  • Reduced slice cooldown
  • Wall hits now come with added knockback effects.
  • Allow jump cancel during melee attacks
  • Reduced projectile knockback
  • Improved camera movement
  • A bunch of changes under the hood (engine update, new audiosystem, etc.)
