Update 0.3.1

[h3]It is Wednesday, our froggies![/h3]

We are experimenting with some new spawn shapes for the bugs and in this update we have added straight lines, circles, wavy lines and spirals. You can try them out in the chapters "A regular day" and "First hops".



We are already working on more shapes and on adding them to the other chapters. Let us know if you like these shapes and also if you have any fun ideas for other shapes, please let us know that as well!

Update notes for 0.3.0

[h3]Hey there frogs, it is Wednesday![/h3]

There is now a new story to read and play through in Froguelike, the story of Kermit.
Kermit loves going far and fast! Help them reach their goal of getting far away from all the annoying buzzing bugs.

We always appreciate feedback, so if you play this new story please let us know what you think about it. We think it might need some balancing (although it isn't meant to be easy) and would love to hear what you think :)

New:
  • Kermit's end chapter
  • Kermit's storyline
  • Two new quests in the game, they also double as achievements on Steam
Changes:
  • Ghost's, Ribbit's and Stanley's end chapters are now guaranteed to show up if the conditions are met
Bug fixes:
  • Fixed jump speed for credit frogs (only on Mac, it was already fixed on Windows)
  • Run items that were leveled up over max level increased exponentially and the increase stayed between runs, that is now fixed and the items increase linearly and reset between runs as intended

Update notes for 0.2.3

[h3]Hoppy new year and new Wednesday, my frudes![/h3]

We hope you had a great and relaxing time during all the celebrations (even if you celebrated or not :) ) and we wish you an amazing year, full of frogs!

We had time both for relaxing and working and this update mostly brings some changes to the credits and we fixed two bugs. We also had time to start working on a new story, it didn't get finished in time for this update but hopefully it will be done for the next one!

New:
  • Froins sometimes appear in the credits
Changes:
  • All the different frogs are now in the credits (instead of only the green frog)
  • Removed Santa hats from the frogs in the credits
Bug fixes:
  • Fixed a distance measuring bug that affected how far you need to go to meat the condition in the chapter "The riddle"
  • Fixed a sizing problem for some sprites on the character selection

Update notes for 0.2.2

[h3]Merry Frogmas and Hoppy Wednesday everyfroggy![/h3]

Froguelike is celebrating Frogmas and the frogs in the credits have put on their Santa hats!
In this update we changed the shop and the frog selection to show all potential unlocks. We also added an indicator for when a frog is selected in the credits. Read the full list of changes and bug fixes below!

Changes:
  • The frogs in the credits now have Santa hats!
  • The frogs in the credits now have an indicator for being selected
  • Potential stock can now be seen in the shop
  • Locked frogs now show in the frog selection, along with a hint for how to unlock them, when starting a run
Bug fixes:
  • It is no longer possible to pause during the start of a chapter (while the title shows) since quitting the run at this point caused a problem
  • Corrected the size of the frogs in the credits

[h3]Hey there all froggies, it is Wednesday!![/h3]
In this update we have some bug fixes and changes to scrolling and navigating on some screens, we have made some storylines have the following chapters only appear directly after the previous chapter and we fixed a bug with the tongues! Read the full list below!

Changes:
  • When playing with the mouse the buttons no longer scroll into view in the shop book and the character selection (the buttons still scroll into view when using a controller or only the keyboard)
  • In storylines about finding an item, all chapters must now be played consecutively (ie: without playing a different chapter in between). Impacted storylines are the ones starting with "Quest for taste", "The riddle" and "Quest for immortality"
Bug fixes:
  • Improved shaky scroll in the shop book, the quest book, the character selection and the credits
  • Fixed tongue colliders not being enabled at the right time (especially noticeable on the cat tongue)
  • Fixed refund button to not change color after being hovered over with the mouse when the button is not active
