Hello, friends. Today I’m sharing the latest updates on the game. A lot of work has been done, and I’m excited to tell you more.
Bicycle- The mechanics for the bicycle are now complete. It is fully functional.
- Added the ability to save the bicycle along with the items placed on it.
- A sound system for the bicycle has been implemented, adding realism to the gameplay.
- The bicycle construction system is fully completed. Players can now assemble it using scrap metal.
- The bicycle can now be used to transport weapons, food crates, water bottles, and ammunition, making it easier to manage resources and save time.
- The speed of the bicycle has been slightly reduced for greater realism, and it decreases further when turning.
Gameplay Updates- Easy mode is now set as the default.
- All items found in the city are automatically teleported to the warehouse.
- Finding items in the city now grants 100 experience points.
- Optimized game code, fixed errors, and improved performance.
Dialogue System- Work on the dialogue system is almost complete.
- Added a voice-over system.
- Added a facial animation system.
- The dialogue system has been integrated into the game for interactions with NPCs in cities.
Additional Mechanics- A new vendor has been added who sells a book from Mr. Zam that grants level 1. He appears randomly during rain.
- Players can now build windows in houses and shops.
- Added notifications about the current day of the week and total days in the game (displayed after sleeping or at the start of a new day).
- Added lighting to the warehouse.
- Added lighting near the weapon vendor.
- A free bonus reroll is available at the start of the game.
- Playing the piano now allows players to earn experience, money, or scrap metal.
- More crafting options have been added to the detail crafting table.
Reworked Mechanics- Blueprints can now be collected without needing to build a machine for creating details.
- Trash can now be built without removing individual trash piles first.
Bug Fixes- Fixed an issue where the weapon-cleaning tutorial would reappear repeatedly.
- Corrected the display of experience points on the computer when changing difficulty levels.
- Fixed a problem with transparency and texture inversion in the shooting range during construction and upgrades.
- Server save issues have been fixed. Open server status is now displayed correctly.
- Fixed the placement of gifts during the winter event.
- Corrected calculations for bonus maximum energy.
- Resolved a rare bug where cities could appear empty without residents.
- Fixed an issue with item scrolling when the warehouse or crafting table was open.
- Fixed a bug in creative mode where selecting a structure changed the display of other items.
Plans- A new build has already been uploaded to the test branch.
- Work on the quest system for the story mode will begin this week.
