What a Next Fest we are having! We’ve been blown away by how many darling dwarves have been playing the demo for DRG: Survivor. We can hardly keep up with all the comments and Rock & Stone’s from all of you. We’re hard at work getting the game ready for Early Access launch in Q1 2024 (actual release date to follow), and it’s been extremely motivating to see the reactions so far.

Anders (Funday Founder & Game Director) and Rasmus (Lead Game Designer) sat down to play through the demo as well! Come watch the stream and hear all their cool design thoughts that go into making the game.

FYI, we couldn’t get Anders and Rasmus to stream live (they were busy making the game) so we had to pre-record it. So, we will not react to comments, but we do read all of them. And, come join our Discord if you have any comments, praise, critiques, thoughts, etc. We are building this game together with the awesome community that’s taking shape around DRG: Survivor.

Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core takes one of PC's best co-op experiences into a different genre


Having hollowed out the Asteroid of Co-Op (Resource) Extraction FPS, Ghost Ship are sinking their drills into the Planet of Roguelite. The just-announced Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core is a crafty feat of genre-splicing in which one to four dwarven miners investigate an alien world whose "core has gone rogue". As in the original Deep Rock Galactic, which we loved, you'll be tunnelling down and fighting critters (exact species TBA) while harvesting precious ores. But this time, there's no returning to the ship once you've loaded up enough. The only way out is down.

Demo Hotfix 0.2.46

You keep finding those pesky bugs and we keep squashing them!

Here's the list of fixes in the DEMO Hotfix 0.2.46:

• Several fixes to drones, please keep reporting them on Discord. It’s helping us track them down
o Fixed issue with drones not avoiding rocks correctly
o Fixed issue with "Behaviour Chip" Overclock not being applied to future drones gained through other overclocks
o Potential fixed issue with "Behaviour Chip" Overclock, that might have resulted in drones freezing in place, and stopping other weapons from working correctly.
o Fixed issue where Electrical drones would shoot lightning even when inactive.
• Fixed issue with the Payload Overclock for the Boltshark on stage 5 (shooting the small cocoons), which could cause other weapons to behave incorrectly.
• Fixed Bug Taser targeting the Dreadnought Cocoon while it was un-targetable
