The Federation is Deploying a Bug-Blasting Patch for Our Demo
[h3]We’ll keep fighting, and we’ll win! [/h3][p][/p][p]Today FedDev is releasing a patch to cover some of the issues you’ve been facing on the front lines of Zegema Beach. We’re proud to have seen so many of you deploying in our immersive training simulation, with the Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! Demo available NOW on Steam.[/p][p][/p][p]But no battle plan survives first contact with the Arachnid enemy! Our teams have been doing their part to make these bugs a thing of the past. We have some fixes deploying to Zegema Beach right now, including:[/p]
- [p]AI Troopers will make more effort to stand behind you, reducing (but not eliminating) the risk of friendly fire[/p]
- [p]AI Troopers will now focus their fire (where possible) on any enemy which you are fighting at or taunting[/p]
- [p]AI Troopers included in your squad will also follow you more closely (while in follow mode), meaning they are better able to provide support[/p]
- [p]The Q key can now be rebound in settings and is not hard locked to Weapon Swap[/p]
- [p]AZERTY keyboard layouts are now working as intended (Troopers who previously launched with AZERTY will need to delete the config folder*)[/p]
- [p]Loading screen text now reads correctly when loading shaders (players previously thought it may have crashed)[/p]
- [p]The software will now open in Full Screen - Windowed as standard (reducing resolution issues for new Troopers)[/p]
