The horror game tycoon- Softstar Entertainment Inc. has announced that the game adaption of the original horror movie “Incantation” has been launched globally on Steam today (November,18), together with the release of the “Surrounded by Curse” trailer, leading players to unveil the mystery of Chen’s Village. “Incantation” is created by teams specialized in the creation of horror titles, putting their priorities on storytelling and ambiance building, to give the players the most realistic and immersive experience. Softstar, again, is going to push “Taiwanese horror” to the world, the game has the support of four languages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. The price tag is 16.99 USD, with a first-week discount of 10% off.
The game has an independent storyline extended from the Chen’s Village in the movie. With the iconic immersive first-person view gameplay, players will play as the mother who’s looking for her missing child and accidentally stumbled into a remote mountain village devoted to a mysterious religion, breaking the weird vibe surrounding the village for decades. What kind of consequences will be triggered if an unbeliever violates the taboo of the Buddha-Mother?
“Incantation” has inherited the elements from the original movie, a mixture of local culture and religions.
