Q: Will the game be released on other platforms?
A: It’s coming to Nintendo Switch later this year!

Q: Is the game singleplayer or multiplayer?
A: The game is a singleplayer experience. However, we encourage you to share your trains and conductors with us and the community, we would love to see how you customize and decorate in Locomoto!

Q: Will my Demo progress carry over to the full game?
A: No, the demo is its own dedicated experience separate from the main game, it even has its own slightly different story.

Q: My character is stuck, Is there a way I can continue playing without having to restart the game?
A: This shortcut: CTRL+ALT+U resets your character to a safe position. This should help in most situations whether you are stuck in dialogue, lost interaction input or physically somewhere in the world.

Q: Where can I find my back-up saves?
A: The game autosaves every time you arrive at a station. If you run into a problem and need to revert back to an older savefile you can find it by going through the debug menu:
- Press § and navigate to “Saving”.
- Your save should be called [SaveName](autosave[number]), press the one you want to load.

❗Remember that any changes will be lost if you jump straight into these saves without saving your game first.

Q: Where can I report a bug?
A: Bugs are best reported through the bot in the Bug-Reports channel on the Locomoto Discord. This will report it directly to our project management tool and make it easier for us to reach back to you when your bug has been fixed.

Don’t have Discord? Use the Bug Reports in our Steam Discussions!

Q: I have a suggestion or idea to share with the devs, where can I do that?
A:

Demo update 2 - Camera adjustments 🎦

I know you just got a patch in the beginning of the week - but here come another one!

One thing that we kind of urgently wanted to tackle since then was the issue where some expressed they experienced nausea during their playthroughs, so in an attempt to combat this we've done some pretty drastic camera changes. Please let us know what you think about this - if it helped, if you miss how the last camera worked or anything of the likes!

As you know we're still in full development of the main game, so we want to thank you a little bit extra for the patience you've shown when encountering these issues. Your feedback and bug reports has been soo helpful so far, thank you! You're awesome 😍

Changes 🔧

Camera
• You now don't have to right click to move the camera - it follows your mouse movement automatically
  • Auto rotation of the camera is now disabled by default to prevent nausea - please give it a feel and see if it helped!
  • Added some camera settings:
    • Option to invert horizontal and vertical axes for mouse and controller cameras
    • Camera sensitivity
    • Option to enable auto rotation of the camera
UI
• Updated the pockets to visually show how much you can stack
  • The travel map now shows stations that have recycle bins
  • More UI translations has been added to the existing languages
Delivery
• Delivery parcels now show the name of the destination station (try saying that five times in a row) when you hold it
Character customisation
• Adjusted where the eyes are looking so they represent how they look in game better 👀
Known issues 🔍
• Luggage and some objects have been known to spawn on the tracks
  • Sound settings does not currently save when quitting game
  • If name field is not selected with mouse and keyboard input, you will currently not be able to write your name
  • You'll get a nose even though you exit character customisation without a nose
  • When leaving a station with a suitcase in your inventory and then putting it down on a seat, that seat will forever be blocked 🫣

Locomoto Demo Developer Stream!

Me and our designer Vanja sat down and had a little discussion about Locomoto where we dove into the thoughts behind creating this cosy little train experience that you've all gotten to know, all while playing through the demo from a dev perspective.

Hope you enjoy!
