We are excited to announce the release of update 0.4 "Strategic Enhancements" for SCP: The Expedition. This update brings two significant changes aimed at improving gameplay and adding depth to combat scenarios.
[h2]Here’s what's new:[/h2]

[h3]Improved Optimization[/h3]Following the changes made to the camera work, a performance drop was noted across many locations. However, with the latest fixes in the rendering of the game world, we've managed to increase performance by up to 10% during the most demanding moments! This enhancement ensures a smoother experience across all areas of the game.

[h3]New Types of Human Enemies[/h3]We're introducing a variety of Chaos Insurgency agents to make the battles more intriguing. In the current version of the game, you will encounter the following types of enemies:
Although the list of changes in this version is brief, we want to inform you that these implemented changes will facilitate the introduction of more enemy types in the future! We've completed the prototyping phase for SCP-337, whose prototype version can be seen in the gif below.

Additionally, we're developing mechanics for other SCPs that players will be able to confront. We're not resting on our laurels and are already excitedly working on a new map and side missions. However, they will require a bit more time before they're ready.
