Demo patch

Hello!
We pushed a new update to the demo, fixing some of the issues players reported.

This is an early alpha so expect a very limited game experience with a lot of missing elements.

  • Fixed some bugs, including one where your mech sprite could be swapped by one of the enemies.
  • Improved visibility on the selectable squares
  • Added some missing sounds and gfx
  • Added new tracks and improved existing background music
  • We noticed many players not understanding the battery stats, so we increased the starting values. You need to charge your battery in the charging points before you run out! (we will explain this better in a future tutorial)
  • Fixed other minor bugs

That's it for now, a big thank you to everyone who submitted feedback!

Alpha Demo is now available!

ARC SEED is part of this year Next Fest June 2023!

We had an issue with the demo yesterday but it should be fully playable now!

This is just a sneak peak of the game and base mechanics.

Since it's an early build expect some things to be missing, but here are some important points:
  • You will do 3 sequential fights, some elements are randomized.
  • You start with a basic deck and your equipped weapons will 'spawn' a card each 2 turns.
  • The enemies have simple abilities, in the final game each Archangel can be quite different and the strategy used to fight them will be very different.
  • You can do repairs and upgrade some stats on your mech
  • Each time you get a new card you need to check the 'deckbuilder' tab before each fight and put the card in your deck.
  • You have a minimum deck size of 7! When in the deckbuilder, you cannot proceed if your deck is smaller than that.
  • Watch out for your available battery, the only way to recharge it is in the battery chargers, during the fights. At the moment we don't explain that clearly in the demo tutorial.

We already know about some bugs but let us know in the Steam Forums if you find anything.

Thank you!
