Nublog #7 | Your Feedback Is Improving Nubs!

After the Nubs! playtest last month, we've been hard at work gathering and reviewing all the feedback we've received from you. Your input has been incredibly valuable and has given us so much insight into what’s working well and what could be improved.
We’ve been carefully going through every comment, suggestion, and piece of advice to ensure we’re making the game the best it can be. Your feedback is helping shape the future of Nubs! so we wanted to share some of the changes we made thanks to your feedback!

We've noticed that many players have been struggling to identify the upcoming/current game mode. To help this, we've added a bright, colorful loading bar and a banner at the start of each match. We hope this makes it easier for players to understand the next objective and limits confusion.

A lot of players also felt as though melee combat was a bit too 'spammy' and not as satisfying. To fix this we've upped the cool-down between each swing. We think this will help swords feel more skill based and fun to fight with.

We’ve received feedback from many players that they often didn’t notice when they were hitting teammates instead of opponents. To make this more obvious, we’ve added text bubbles to help clear up any confusion during gameplay.

Those were some of the changes we made since the last playtest. Still missing some changes? Don't worry! There's still a lot of additions and adjustments that we did not cover in this Nublog.
This playtest also certainly was not the last! So to see all the changes we made thanks to you, you can join our next playtest. Follow our Twitter or Bluesky to get notified on when the next one will be.
That’s a wrap on this week's Nublog. Stay tuned for the next Nublog, because more info on future playtests will be shared soon! Get ready to unleash your inner Nub!
