Developer Diaries #6 - Mika’s Hot Springs & a Mysterious Redhead

[h2]Hey again Seikyuians![/h2]

Welcome to another tasty dev diary where we share some first looks at WIP characters, places, re-designs and features coming in future updates for Tales of Seikyu.
Whilst we are working diligently towards our first major content update, which will include Seikyu’s hot springs & the ranch, we’re also working on characters and re-designs, and more for some of the later updates.

We’re also very appreciative of the feedback and input from our devoted and active community, so if you have some thoughts about anything to do with Seikyu and what’s coming, please do join our Discord where we are regularly sharing early concept pieces and voting for your fav designs.😉

Now, we have a brand new character to share with you, let’s take a peek!

[h2]❤️A Mysterious New Male Character[/h2]

Who is this gorgeous guy? 👀 While we aren’t ready to share more than his concept art at this point, (sorry!), we can tell you that this ROMANCEABLE character will grace the grounds of Seikyu alongside upcoming bad boy, Uwabami, in a future update.

We shared some design variations for this fiery red-head with our community on Discord and based the design you see below on your amazing input!

[h2]👷🏻‍♂️Sasaki’s Re-Designs[/h2]

We also recently shared some re-designs for the adorable and hard-working Sasaki! We loved his original look, but we wanted to make him stand out a little more amongst Seikyu’s bachelors. If you’d like to share your thoughts about which design you like the best, we have also shared the designs on Discord where we are currently monitoring votes. ✨



[h2]🛁Mika’s Hot Springs & Ranching[/h2]

We’ve made some amazing progress with the Ranch and the hotsprings where the beautiful yet enigmatic Mika works (and where you can bring your loved one for a very special and romantic date!).

As you can see, the area is getting that beautiful tranquil treatment with ponds and bridges to enjoy the scenery. The big block is a placeholder for Mika’s house, don’t worry it will look a lot different when Content Update 1 launches. 👀

Also, we can’t not share this beautiful preview of the cutest little Capybara for the Ranch!

Tales of Seikyu - 0.2.61 Patch Notes

[p]Last Friday, we released version 0.2.58. However, several issues were reported shortly after launch. To maintain a stable experience for all players, we decided to roll back the update promptly. [/p][p]We sincerely thank everyone who took the time to report these bugs — your support means a lot to us. The good news is: those issues have now been fixed, and the improvements will be reintroduced in this update. [/p]
