Hey adventurers!

With Update 1, we're rolling out key adjustments inspired directly by your feedback to make each class feel more rewarding, impactful, and fun to play. A heartfelt thank you to everyone in our community who took the time to complete our recent survey, your input has been invaluable in helping us understand your thoughts on character balance and the overall state of the game. [h2]General Changes[/h2]
  • Harvest animations can now be cancelled. A cooldown has been added to prevent rapid re-activation of harvesting.
  • Fixed Priest chests opening backwards and not properly requiring the priest to purify the chest.
  • Fixed an issue where teammate nameplates would not populate
  • Fixed a number of issues where long text would not wrap
  • Fixed an issue where the toolbelt background was still visible on the hud while it was empty
  • Fixed an issue where the loot tracker toast would show you receiving an item you disenchanted (it was actually being destroyed)
  • Fixed item icons hovering the wrong direction when rotated
  • Fixed "Sell All Treasures" being enabled when you didn't have any treasures
  • Fixed "Available Points" in the traits page being frozen if you swapped character while the page was open
  • Fixed Upgraded Items not updating their rarity color when upgraded
  • Fixed vendor music not playing if you entered the vendor menu via the V key
  • Optimized the memory usage of global item actions
  • Added "Equip" and "Unequip" item actions
  • Items can now be dragged onto your character in the inventory screen to equip that item.
  • Updated Oak tree harvestables to have a Yellow leaf color
  • Fixed an issue where throwable boulders would create a shadow trail when thrown
  • Fixed the Rigged Chest not exploding when classes other than Rogues would interact with it
  • Added the ability to drop items in the world by dragging and dropping outside of the inventory window
  • Changed the "Drop" option in the right click menu on items to "Delete" while in the lobby
  • Added "Equip" and "Unequip" options to the right click menu on items
  • Bandits now have a chance to drop a lantern
  • Goblins now have a chance to drop higher quality leather based on their difficulty
  • Wolves can now drop increased amounts of leather
  • Major Health Potion now requires Night Jasmine and Red Mushroom instead of Dried Herbs
  • Silk Bandages now require Night Jasmine instead of Dried Herbs
  • Faespun Bandages now requires an additional Dried Herbs
  • Squash the Shortage now only requires 3 pumpkins instead of 5
  • A Frog's Purpose now only requires 3 frogs instead of 4
  • Blade Meets Bark now only requires 1 Wood Saw instead of 2
  • Steelshell Beetle now only requires 1 hour instead of 4 hours in the Critter Habitat
  • Improved the duration of minor healing potions by 50%
  • Fixed a performance stutter that could occur in Lightbearer's Keep at night.
  • Fixed an issue where some doors did not unlock permanently
  • Added additional sources for Armor and Weapon crystal transmute recipes
  • Changed the Transmutation Device to continue crafting with all available resources in the input slots, similar to the behavior of the Forge, Loom, and Tanner
  • Fixed an issue where the level 3 fireplace would revert to level 2 upon logout
  • Fixed a framerate stutter in the crypt
  • Update Traditional and Simplified Chinese localization


[h2]Global Combat[/h2]
[h3] Mechanics[/h3]
  • Self damage taken from AoE explosions increased to 20%, up from 10%
  • Reduced damage bonus of Elemental Bonus Damage gems to match Physical Bonus Damage gems
    • 2% for Uncommon quality, down from 3%
    • 3% for Rare quality, down from 5%
  • Reduced Armor bonus of Elemental Armor gems to match Physical Armor gems
  • Flowing Potion
    • Fixed to remove fire affliction buildup
  • Rotation disabling is now fixed this should resolve a number of issues:
    • Enemy AI should no longer pivot to home on targets during their hit frames when doing melee attacks
    • Warrior Charge, Rogue Blade Rush, and other skills that are meant to go in a straight line, will no longer allow the character to turn
      • Note: This should also fix the rogue shadow clone after blade rush issue
    • Warrior Rampage should be fixed to not cause the character to jump around
    • Melee attacks will not be freely steerable at all times, but they should no longer cause desync to happen when pivoting
    • We have noticed that there were some skills that were too restrictive before and have allowed for new things to be possible that previously were not during Season 0 even after the fix, some examples include
      • Melee Jump attacks will continue to allow turning while airborne
      • Warrior Charge, and Rogue Claws will allow turning during the startup animation
      • Priest charged skills will not enforce slow turning while held

[h3]Mechanics[/h3]
  • Reduced Base HP to 900, down from 1000

[h3]Weapons[/h3]
  • Staff
    • Fireball
      • Reduced Fire affliction buildup of the charge levels to 125 / 250 / 350 / 450 / 550, down from 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 / 700
      • Fireball damage reduced by 10%
      • Standing in overlapping Flame Patches results in the damage and buildup only occuring once overall instead of once for each patch
      • Reduced Fire affliction buildup from the Flame Patch to 30 per tick, down from 75
      • Reduced tick rate of Flame Patch damage to once every 1 second, up from every 0.5 seconds
      • Flame patch VFX matches the size of the explosions (should be reduced visually)
      • Flame Patch damage per tick now scales with Ability Power
  • Evade Attack
    • Removed stagger from the evade attack
    • The projectile damage now pierces Block similar to other piercing projectiles


[h3]Abilities[/h3]
  • Gravity Well
    • Reduced radius of Gravity Well
    • Fixed VFX to match the radius of Gravity Well
  • Overload
  • Can be pressed a second time to cancel the effect and stop the Charged Power from draining
  • Overcharge
  • Costs 6 Charged Power now instead of 3, 5 with the Spellweaver helm

[h3]Traits[/h3]
  • Ley line Mastery
    • Remove the Unstoppable effect while standing in a Ley line
    • Haste buff reduces cast time on Fireball by 1 second, down from 1.5

[h3]Class Tools[/h3]
  • Phoenix Scroll
    • Removed stagger from phoenix attacks
    • Reduced fire affliction buildup from phoenix attacks to 25 per hit, down from 75
    • Explosion range reduced to match the actual intended area (from 3m to 2m)
    • Added a 20 second cooldown
  • Meteor
    • Fixed meteor to show a visual indicator that it is incoming

[h3]Weapons[/h3]
  • Sword and Buckler
    • Normal Attacks
      • Total combo now does 4 Block damage, down from 6

[h2]Abilities[/h2]
  • Guided Star
    • Reduced damage of the Guided star by 15%
  • Heaven's Ward
    • Reduced duration of Immunity to 2 seconds, down from 3
    • Increased Cooldown to 16 seconds, up from 15
    • Reduced movement boost effect to 50%, down from 70%
    • Stun effect stays in the place where the priest was standing when the immunity ends rather than being attached to the priest
  • Heaven's Wrath
    • Cooldown and Cost now apply after cast, rather than at the start of the skill

[h2]Class Tools[/h2]
  • Spiritual Heal Card
    • Increased cooldown to 45 seconds, up from 30

[h2]Perks[/h2]
  • Sword and Buckler - Star & Moon
    • Snare duration reduced to 4 seconds, down from 6

[h3]Rogue[/h3]
[h3]Mechanics[/h3]
  • Increased distance of the Long Evade (second evade) to 4 meters, up from 3.5
  • Slightly reduced visibility of Rogue's Stealth effect

[h3]Weapons[/h3]
  • Daggers
    • Normal Attacks
      • Increased damage of normal attacks by 2%
      • Cheapshot
      • Cooldown now applies at the start of the hit frames
  • Swords
    • Sprint Attack
      • Increased distance traveled by 20%
      • Increased block damage to 2, up from 1

[h3]Abilities[/h3]
  • Claws
    • Claw cooldown and cost now applies at the start of the hit frames
    • Reduced energy cost of all claws to 20 energy, down from 30
    • Increased cooldown of all claws to 6 seconds, up from 4
  • Grapple
    • Now applies Unstoppable for the duration of the travel, and follow up attack
  • Shroud
    • Increased duration of invisibility to 3.5 seconds up from 2 seconds
  • Visage
    • Increased run speed of the visage clone by 30%, (now matches the speed of a sprinting player with sheathed weapons)

  • Daggers - The Last Word
    • Increased duration of Mark applied after a fully charged Spider Bite to 18 seconds, up from 8
  • Swords - Viper's Kiss
    • Increased poison affliction buildup to 350, up from 250

[h2]Hunter[/h2]
[h3]Weapons[/h3]
  • Long Bow
    • Reduced base damage by 5%
    • Thunder Arrow
      • Only deals the lightning explosion effect on impact, preventing double hits when shooting at the target's feet
      • Increased damage by 40%
  • Swiftbow
    • Normal Attack
      • Middle arrow of the final attack deals 1 Block damage
    • Charged Attack
      • Final charged arrow does 1 Block damage

[h3]Abilities[/h3]
  • Bramble Trap
    • Reduced total Hemorrhage buildup per tick to 70, down from 100
    • Base damage with Junk gear has been reduced
    • Damage now scales with Ability Power
  • Flying Seed Bomb
    • Fixed an issue where the Flying Seed Bomb would detonate on the Hunter (caster) prematurely
    • Fixed an issue where the Flying Seed Bomb would last 15 sec instead of 3 minutes
  • Spore Bomb
    • Fixed an issue where Spore Bomb would not deal damage on direct impact
  • Shock Beetle
    • Explosion radius increased by 30%

[h3]Traits[/h3]
  • Pinning Shot
    • Knockback distance increased to 4 meters, up from 3
    • Cooldown increased to 10 seconds, up from 6

[h2]Warrior[/h2]

  • Increased rage generated when blocking attacks by 60%
  • Increased base HP by 50

[h3]Weapons[/h3]
  • Deathball
    • Flying Doom (Weapon Skill)
    • Projectile pierces through targets when thrown out, still applies Knockback on return
    • Increased damage by 15% on the throw out
    • Increased damage by 85% on the return

[h3]Abilities[/h3]
  • Iron Tether
    • Added a cooldown of 10 seconds
    • Fixed an issue where tether could pierce Evade and Immunity states
    • Fixed an issue where it was not castable while Sprinting and shortly after evading
  • Rampage
    • 1/4 of the Rage cost is now applied during the hit frames of each attack
    • Raging Shout
    • Radius of effect increased by 3.5 meters, up from 3
    • Cast speed increased by 15%
  • Battle Frenzy
    • Enrage Duration increased to 4 seconds, up from 3
