Season 1: Shadow’s Reach launched earlier this month and we’ve been hammering away ever since. From critical hotfixes and class tuning to map polish and backend stability, May has been a nonstop sprint to reinforce *Legacy: Steel & Sorcery* for the road ahead.

With the launch of Season 1, players got access to:
  • Two brand new maps: Greenwood Night and Dawnhammer Crypt
  • A brand new class: Wizard, armed with arcane powers and chaos potential
  • A fresh seasonal wipe
  • Overhauled interaction systems
  • The new Goldbrook Hub, Duo Queue, Weekly Quests, and Goblin Pawn Shop
  • New afflictions, new creatures, new loot, and new ways to die gloriously

[h2]🗺️ Map Cleanup & Exploit Patching[/h2]
We’ve reinforced collision and escape prevention across all the new zones:

  • Blocked off statue skipping and unintended extraction access in the Crypt
  • Fixed out-of-bounds exploits in Goldbrook
  • Addressed collision snags across multiple map layers
  • Improved performance in Greenwood’s Castle area

[h2]⚙️ Crafting, Economy, and Vendor Tweaks[/h2]
  • Fixed crafting bugs that started jobs with fewer items than required
  • Goblin Insurance now only returns equipped gear
  • Gem recipes rebalanced (less gem dust, adjusted prices)
  • Vendor inventories improved for Alchemist and Enchantress
  • Potion drink speed increased
  • Critter Chow is now cheaper to craft
  • Goldleaf Grubs process faster
  • Pouches (Treasure Hunter, Alchemist) now allow more item types

[h2]🤖 AI & Technical Fixes[/h2]
  • Enemies like Ogres and Animated Armor now follow proper rotation rates and attack logic
  • Homing projectiles retuned, Flying Seed fixed
  • Fixed bug causing players to become unlootable after 2 minutes
  • Fixed server and client crashes, and improved crash reporter reliability
  • Resolved startup crashes tied to Steam gameplay clips
