Diablo 4 boss leaves Blizzard after five-year stint

Rod Fergusson, the general manager of the Diablo franchise who has overseen the launch of Diablo 4 and its Vessel of Hatred expansion, has announced that he's leaving Blizzard. Renowned for his work leading the Gears of War series, he made the switch to Blizzard in 2020 to steer the Diablo ship, but after five years, he's leaving the company for a new challenge.

Diablo 4 kicks off new event to hopefully distract your from the game's broken patch

The latest Diablo 4 update rolled out right on schedule, on July 15, across all platforms. Unfortunately, it appears the update had skipped a couple of QA steps along the way, because it became immediately clear that it’s breaking the game for most players.

New Diablo 4 patch notes have arrived, and there's some good news for anyone enjoying the Sins of the Horadrim update. Blizzard has rolled out a much-needed Diablo 4 hotfix that solves two of the biggest issues in its demon-blasting RPG. The new update for Diablo 4 Season 9 addresses missing Nightmare Sigils, a problem that was proving a serious roadblock for anyone trying to grind through the endgame, and also improves the payout of the newly introduced Horadric Strongrooms. If you've been finding yourself frustrated by constant progression walls, the experience should now feel much smoother.
