Diablo 4 roadmap for 2025 may lack an expansion, but it's still super stacked

For Diablo 4 players, the news that there wouldn't be a new expansion this year was a pretty tough pill to swallow. However, with the reveal of its roadmap for 2025 and beyond, Blizzard may have just sweetened the deal. Confirming the themes of the RPG's next three seasons and some of the major content they contain, it also teases that the heavily requested leaderboards feature will be arriving - albeit not until next year.

Diablo 4 will now turn on resolution scaling by default on PC, so don't be alarmed if things suddenly look blurry

Blizzard has revealed the patch notes for Diablo 4’s next update, which will arrive tomorrow, March 18 on all platforms. This is a smaller patch, so don’t expect anything massive. Ironically, though, the biggest change has little to do with gameplay.

No, this isn’t a deja vu, Blizzard really is bringing back Diablo 4’s Mother’s Blessing event for the second month in-a-row. This is the game’s not-quite double XP bonanza, though it does boost your XP and Gold earn rate significantly.

After a year of silence, BlizzCon is officially back

Of all the many events I've attended for PCGamesN, BlizzCon is still the most special. Having played Blizzard games since I was a kid, I'd always wanted to venture out to Anaheim to immerse myself in the worlds I hold so dear. Azeroth, Sanctuary, Overwatch 2's futuristic Earth - my childhood playgrounds brought to vibrant life. But BlizzCon was canceled following the Xbox merger, with its future somewhat uncertain. Today, Blizzard has confirmed that the iconic convention is coming back, but we'll have to wait a little longer.
