How to activate the brazier in Diablo 4 The Sacred Hunt quest

How do you interact with the brazier in The Sacred Hunt quest? Diablo 4 has a fairly long Spiritborn quest to unlock a place called The Spirit Hall. It involves some exploration, a lot of fighting, and a beast that is seemingly immune to all damage. That isn't why we're here though - there's a point in the quest where you must interact with a brazier in some way to proceed, but it's a little murky on what you actually need to do - that's where we come in.

The latest Diablo 4 DLC is here, and we delved deep in our Vessel of Hatred review to give you our honest opinion (we enjoyed it). If you want to undertake The Sacred Hunt quest you'll first need to get your Spiritborn class character to level 15, so get that boxed off. It might also help to hire a Diablo 4 mercenary to make the tough fights ahead a little easier.

The best Diablo 4 mercenaries and how to recruit them

Who are the best mercenaries in Diablo 4? Vessel of Hatred adds mercenaries as a new mechanic, giving you allies that can be called into battle or set as your main companion. They can be unlocked during the main quest in Vessel of Hatred, with each mercenary having unique skills and their own backstory.

Diablo 4's expansion adds a bunch of new mechanics and content, from raising the Diablo 4 level cap to changing how difficulty settings work in Diablo 4. We also have the added advantage of mercenaries to aid us in battle, though they will need some convincing first through the rapport system.

Blizzard explains that one wild plot twist in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred

As if that vaguely horrifying Summer Game Fest trailer wasn't enough of a giveaway, Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is defined by blood, guts, and gore. There's death, destruction, and violence, framed by a gorgeous jungle-inspired world and the rumbles of religious conflict. VoH is, for me, absolute perfection, but there was one plot point that completely threw me off. While it's hardly going to deter me from playing the game all over again, I ask associate narrative designer Eleni Rivera-Colon about that decision, and the game's comparatively hopeless ending versus Lilith's demise at the end of Diablo 4. Note that this article contains major spoilers - you've been warned.

Who is Akarat in Diablo 4?

Who is Akarat in Diablo 4? If you've played Diablo like, at all, you'll hear his name a lot. So if, like me, 'Akarat chirs cha cham' is playing over and over again in your head, here's a full rundown of who your godly companion is, and where he fits in the Diablo story. Note that this guide contains spoilers for the Vessel of Hatred campaign.

We've all seen the trailer for Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred. Neyrelle, guided by a native of Nahantu, crosses the river to Kurast in a rowing boat, dutifully chanting to Akarat. As Mephisto takes over and her arms are mercilessly split apart, we realize that Akarat is going to play a huge part in the RPG's campaign - which we have a Diablo 4 DLC review for, if you're interested - especially given the breadth of Mephisto's inky corruption. If you're new to Diablo, however, you may not have encountered Akarat, so here's a rundown of exactly who he is, and what part he plays in Sanctuary's story.

How do you find the lost soul in Diablo 4 The Keening Spirit?

Where is the lost soul in The Keening Spirit in Diablo 4? You'll pick up countless quests in Diablo 4 that share the same DNA: head to a place, find a thing, and fight a bunch of enemies. The flavor of these tasks changes from location to location, but the goal is usually the same. There is a quest in Vessel of Hatred named The Keening Spirit which some players are having trouble with, to the point they think it's bugged. Turns out, it's just a little finicky.

The Diablo 4 DLC is here, and we have a Vessel of Hatred review if you want to know our thoughts. If you're just sinking your teeth into the ARPG, we have a few guides that should help you get started, including one on the new Spiritborn class, and how to hire a Diablo 4 mercenary so you've always got a helping hand on quests like The Keening Spirit.
