    1. [p]Spell Gem: Gives a new spell to any Mage or Boss taking this gem (Red = new attack spell, Green = new unit spell, Blue = new defense spell).[/p]
    2. [p]Maximum of 5 hearts in the match. [/p]
    3. [p]Maximum of 5 gems in the match.[/p]
    4. [p]Sudden death rule: A turn counter tracks how many turns have passed since one of the following actions occurred: A spell was cast (including unit summons), an enemy unit was attacked, or an enemy unit was destroyed by a deady square. If no such action happens for 10 turns, the game enters Sudden Death mode. From that point on, at the end of each turn, the player automatically fires shots that drain 1 energy from all enemy units. The counter resets every time one of the listed actions occurs.[/p]
    5. [p]Mage needs 100 gold and 7 spells to play online.[/p]

The Arcane Tower area, the Knight unit, and the Protection spell!

[h3]Fight Lanceblade, the Knight boss of the Arcane Tower area! After defeating the boss, you'll get a new unit, the Knight, and a new spell, Protection![/h3]

[h3]Update Highlights:[/h3]
  • New area with five new levels to play!
  • New spell: Protection - Protects all friendly units within range. The protection shield dome lasts five turns. Enemy hits can weaken it.
  • New unit: Knight - a strong melee unit that, when attacking, pushes the enemy back one square.
  • New Square: Spikes - Deadly Square. If a unit falls into this square, it dies!
  • New tutorials showing the new elements: Protection spell / Knight unit / Spikes square.
  • Added three levels of Arcane Tower to play in local/online matches.
  • Rule fix: Teleport spell: Now can teleport to any square except adjacent to a boss/wizard (minimum distance from boss reduced to 2).
  • Rule fix: Summon units: Now a unit can be summoned to any square except adjacent to a boss/wizard (minimum distance from boss reduced to 2).
  • Bugfix: All bosses now have 15 HP and 4 damage.
  • Bugfix: Dispel spell now removes all negative effects from the friendly units and all positive effects from the enemies within range.
  • Minor visual fixes and text corrections.
  • Memory usage optimization.
  • Added some sounds fx.
  • Minor bug fixes.

Update: Area 6 - Frostfire Passage!

[h3]Enter Frostfire Passage, a frozen and dangerous area, the domain of Glacius and the Ice Elementals! You must defeat him to gain a new unit, the Ice Elemental, and a new spell, Ice Storm![/h3]

  • New spell: Ice Storm - Freezes all enemies within range.

  • Rule fix: Objects can now be placed on brittle rock and ice.
  • Rule Fix: The Healer heals trapped units, and if fully healed hits the web.
  • Units summon sound fx added.
  • Minor visual fixes and text corrections.
  • Memory usage optimization.
  • Added some sounds fx.
  • Minor bug fixes.
  • Orc spell now cost 30.
  • Level 1 now has five cards instead of four.

Update: Area 5 - Black Forest!

[h3]You have reached the Black Forest, the domain of Fangrot, the Orc Boss. You must defeat him to gain a new unit, the Orc, and a new spell, Flood![/h3]

  • Bugfix: Spider web turns now decrease if a friendly unit hits the web.
  • Bugfix: Fixed a bug preventing a unit from appearing when summoning.
  • Bugfix: Fixed a small bug in a tutorial.
  • Reordering of the cards of the enemy deck (equal units go together).
  • Dust particles were added to the levels.
  • Minor visual fixes and text corrections.
