[p][/p][p]Thanks, everyone, for your interest in Zeta Wolf Chronicles. We have received a considerable amount of exposure and wishlists since our debut, so I appreciate you giving our demo a try! I wanted to give our players an overview of what to expect going into our full release.[/p][p][/p][p]Just in time for Steam Next Fest, we have released a patch for the demo (version 4.51) that features several quality-of-life improvements:[/p]

• [p]The day and route are listed on scene transitions (or selection).[/p]

[p][/p][p]This is a small visual improvement that simply gives greater clarity to the current scene and route that you are on. This is especially helpful when navigating through the Timeline! I had also intended to implement timestamps for scenes on the timeline menus, but unfortunately, it didn't make it for this release! There is a possibility that I will go ahead and push this update by the end of Next Fest, however.[/p][p][/p][p]Release is expected between Q4 2026 and Q1 2027. To be honest, I am expecting the launch to be closer to the latter half of the estimated date, simply because there is so much to do. Here's a brief overview of what to expect:[/p][p][/p]

• [p]There will be approximately 4-5 hours of additional playtime (conservative estimate) per route (4), plus an epilogue route.[/p]
• [p]The Student Handbook will be fully accessible, featuring all characters.[/p]
• [p]The main heroines will receive bio updates in the Student Handbook (additional pages will be added for them featuring these entries).[/p]
• [p]The Glossary will receive major updates with additional terms. 300+ was advertised (up from 30 in the demo), so we'll see how many I can squeeze in. These will naturally be unlocked throughout the course of the game, some locked behind different choices.[/p]
• [p]All dialogue from Ravia, Maikah, Alphi, and Rika will be fully voiced. The rest of the characters are partially voiced.[/p]
• [p]Look forward to "bedtime conversation" segments with the main heroines, where you can delve into a wide variety of in-depth conversations on various topics.[/p]

[p][/p][p]I may be forgetting something, but that's the brief overview! In addition, a digital artbook soundtrack will be available for purchase, which should be ready by launch (here's hoping).[/p][p][/p][p]If you encounter any bugs, feel free to mention them on the Steam community forums or on our Discord channel. Despite delays during the previous Next Fest, I am pleased to announce that the Zeta Wolf Chronicles Demo (version 4.4) will be released on February 12th, 2026 (for the first time on Steam). This is ahead of the official Steam Next Fest! Long-time followers will get the opportunity to play the release before its debut during the event! [p][/p][p]This is a meaty demo that has been in development for roughly three years since our Kickstarter/Itch.io debut. If you managed to play that release, there is roughly 4 hours of additional content this time around! You can pick up where you left off by selecting “Timeline” in the main menu and navigating to the end of Day 6 before an official route/heroine is chosen. Some scenes prior to this convergence point have been slightly altered since the last release to make the transition more seamless.[/p][p][/p][p]Full release is planned for Q4 2026/Q1 2027, but more concrete dates will be available in the future! Thank you, everyone, for your patience and dedication to our project. I have been working earnestly on this game for the past seven years! Most recently, since Kickstarter funding, I have been regularly updating our backers on our current progress. As we're nearing the release of our revamped and expanded demo, I thought I'd keep everyone abreast of the recent developments.

For starters, we have our recently updated Key Visual art, which will also serve as the game's title screen.



Secondly, I wanted to announce news of our website that's opening soon! Here are some key points on what to expect:

• Introduction to all 19 characters in the game
  
• Listen to voice previews of all characters
  
• Exploration of key features, lore, and terminology
  
• A plethora of screenshots for you to peruse
  

Here are some more recent developments that I wanted to share with you guys! I managed to take inspiration from the Sprite Viewer from Zeta Wolf First Bite, and I incorporated it into a "Student Handbook" of sorts. This will let you explore each of the characters in the game, at any moment really, accessible from the bottom menu.



As you go through the game, you'll be able to unlock bio entries, really delving into the more niche characterizations of everyone. The full game will have additional pages and more for each main gal.



I'm happy to reveal that we have finally finished casting for each of our roles, and I'd love to be able to give you guys the chance to meet everyone soon!


Can we soar past 1000 wishlists? Once again, I wanted to thank everyone for believing in our project! While the development cycle has been quite lengthy, I want to assure you that we are making great strides toward release! Please mark your calendars for October 13th for the release of our updated demo on Steam! This will be part of Steam's Next Fest that will run for a week (but the demo will be available continually afterward).

However, I will tell you guys that I plan to release a public demo for Steam Next Fest in October. This will contain new content not available elsewhere!

In the meantime, why not check out my first released visual novel, Zeta Wolf: First Bite. It is categorized as a "yuri" title, but it's very tame and there's more of a friendship/bonding element going on between the two girls. You'll also be able to glean pieces of backstory that set some plot threads in place for Zeta Wolf Chronicles.
