BrokenLore: DON'T WATCH is a psychological horror game about a young hikikomori trapped in his apartment in Tokyo.

DON'T WATCH features a combination of photorealistic environments and stylized visuals wrapped in a meta-horror type, game inside a game story.

DON'T WATCH is only one of the entries in their new BrokenLore series that focus on philosophical themes and psychological horror.

A quick clarification for those exploring the BrokenLore series: each game can be experienced as a standalone story, and you don’t need to have played the others to enjoy it fully. However, for those who play all the titles, you'll uncover the overarching narrative and piece together the larger lore behind this complex story.

Our decision to work on multiple titles and release them just a few months apart is purely driven by storytelling reasons. We wanted to maintain narrative focus and avoid diluting the experience. We hope you understand and appreciate this creative choice. Meanwhile, there are already four demos available from the series (including UNFOLLOW, FOLLOW), so if you haven’t played them yet, be sure to give them a try—and don’t forget to add them to your wishlist!

Now, to celebrate Steam Next Fest, we’d also like to highlight another game that we think you’ll love: Karma: The Dark World. This psychological thriller has a highly cinematic feel and is set in a dystopian version of East Germany in 1984, ruled by the Leviathan Corporation.
