Demo Released | 10 000 Wishlists Reached | Future Plans
10 000 Wishlists Reached
[p]SECTOR ZERO has recently reached 10,000 wishlists! This was my initial milestone goal, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it happen. The boost came during the Tiny Teams Festival, which was featured for 48 hours on the front page of Steam. Thanks to that, plus coverage from AlphaBetaGamer and a few lucky coincidences, the game gained about 4,000 wishlists in just three weeks.[/p][p]The game is now complete and fully playable from start to finish. I’m still iterating the gameplay with our internal tester group on Discord, and there are a few smaller features I would like to add, such as Steam Achievements, Cloud Saves, and some extra polish.[/p]
Try the Demo
[p]A demo of SECTOR ZERO is available to try! It was originally released exclusively for the Tiny Teams Festival, but I have decided to keep it available. Feel free to check it out and share your thoughts here or in the Steam Discussions forums. You can also report bugs or any technical issues you encounter. Your feedback is very helpful.[/p]
Community Translation
[p]I’m also looking for community translators! If you would like to help translate the game into your language, please reach out to me on Discord. It will still take some time before everything is ready, but I'm making steady progress and I will contact everyone interested soon.[/p]
Future Plans
[p]The next big step is the October Steam Next Fest, which will be a fantastic opportunity for more exposure. After that, I will be looking for the final release window. Right now I am deciding between late November 2025 and early February 2026, depending on the momentum from Next Fest. At the same time, I’ll be shifting focus back towards ARTIFICIAL, my larger project from the same universe that I’ve been working on for a long time.[/p][p]Thank you so much for sticking with both of my games for so long! I am a solo dev, fully self-funded, and I take on outsourcing jobs in the industry to keep myself going. That way I can eat, keep my 2001 VW Passat running, and most importantly, make the games I love. ❤️
