Fellowship is Available Now in Steam Early Access!
[p]Fellows, the time has finally come... Fellowship, the first-ever multiplayer online dungeon adventure (“MODA”) is available now in Steam Early Access! Get Fellowship now to see how it takes fan-favorite elements of MMOs, MOBAs and ARPGs to give you an epic co-op dungeon running adventure. Those who embark on this adventure from the very beginning of Early Access will be able to experience the core vision of Fellowship: all dungeon runs, all the time – giving you the action you want right from the start.  [/p][p]Today’s launch is a big moment for us, but it marks just the beginning for Fellowship, as the game will evolve thanks to YOUR feedback. It’s important to note that by going into Early Access, Fellowship is still in active development and not in its final state yet -- with some elements, including localization, to be changed and improved over time. You may even see new, work-in-progress Heroes and Dungeons get added in! Over the course of Early Access, Fellowship will get even better as we develop our game alongside you. We encourage you to give as much feedback as possible as we want to make Fellowship the best it can be before we’re ready for it to fully launch into 1.0 next year! [/p][p]To celebrate today’s Early Access launch, Fellowship is on sale for 10% off its Early Access launch price of $24.99 from today until October 23. Players who’d love to show their support for our studio (Chief Rebel) and Fellowship’s development can also get the Supporter Edition for Fellowship via Steam, which includes the Early Access version of the game along with three Supporter Packs -- with each pack granting three exclusive armor skins and one exclusive mount. The packs are available individually for $19.99 each, all together in a Supporter Pack Set bundle for $39.99 (does not include the Fellowship game SKU) and available in Fellowship’s Supporter Edition for $59.99 (the game and all Supporter Packs purchased together). The packs, bundle and Supporter Edition to also be available for 10% off from October 16 until October 23. Additionally, starting today, we have Twitch Drops available! From today until November 6, you can watch your favorite streamer play Fellowship with Drops enabled and earn free in-game rewards just by watching. [/p][p]For everyone who’s supported us to get to this major milestone, we just want to say, THANK YOU! As a new, indie studio, we’ve poured our heart and soul into getting to this point, so we’re absolutely thrilled to have you all jump in the game in Early Access and for newcomers to jump in too. While today is a big moment for all of us, today’s Early Access launch really is just the beginning of Fellowship, as this ambitious and new title of ours will be a constantly evolving adventure that we’ll build together with all of you.  [/p]
Looking Ahead
[p]With Fellowship being our first title as a studio, we’re first just really excited to involve the community (you all!) even more directly with the development of our game. But we know many of you might be wondering what’s to come after today’s launch. We have several plans in-mind for content and features for the Early Access period of the game and beyond, but we will make adjustments if we hear that there’s something that you all really want to see. Following today’s launch, our first order of business to focus on getting as much feedback as possible and primarily focus on quality of life improvements along with bug fixes and game balancing. Once we’ve had a chance to review all feedback and make sure things are running as smoothly as possible, we then plan to share a roadmap that details what’s in the pipeline for new features over the next few months. [/p][p]At the moment, Fellowship is planned to be in Early Access for approximately six months, but this can change depending on community feedback – as we will strive to discover what the community wants in Fellowship to help shape it into the best possible game it can be before it enters 1.0 launch next year. [/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
What You Should Know Before Jumping into Fellowship in Early Access
[p]Now there’s a few key things you should know before jumping into the Early Access version of Fellowship! Check out the video above from our incredible Community Director, Hamish Bode, to find out everything you should know and more.  [/p][p]Also, we know some of you might just want a FAQ. Well, we’ve got you covered!  [/p]
Early Access FAQ
[p]Where can I share Early Access feedback? [/p][p]Please share your feedback via our official Discord in the #early-access-feedback channel, as we will be actively monitoring, collecting and responding to feedback that’s given there – and using the feedback to discover ways to shape Fellowship during Early Access. [/p][p]What servers are available? [/p][p]Servers are in NA (Boston) EU (Amsterdam) and Asia (Hong Kong) [/p][p]Does my Open Beta progress carry over to the Early Access version of the game? [/p][p]It does not.  [/p][p]What do I do if I encounter an issue during Early Access? [/p][p]As the game is still in active development during Early Access, you may occasionally encounter issues with your game. If you do, please report them in the #bug-reports channel on Discord so our teams can track them. [/p][p]What can I expect with this Early Access version of the game, and what’s the plan for Early Access development? [/p][p]The game’s Early Access launch marks just the beginning of Fellowship, as this new title will be a constantly evolving adventure with a slew of content that will be added and evolve thanks to player feedback throughout the course of Early Access.  [/p][p]If you jump into the Early Access version at launch, you’ll be able to choose from nine Heroes across three archetypes: DPS, Tank, and Healer, and play through multiple Dungeons, each with tough enemies, unique bosses, and challenging mechanics. As you complete dungeons, you’ll earn gear, almost all of which have its own visual look so you can customize the look of your chosen Hero. [/p][p]We have several plans in-mind for content and features for the Early Access period of the game and beyond, but will make adjustments if they hear that there’s something the community really wants to see. Following Early Access launch, we plan to first focus on getting as much feedback as possible and primarily focus on quality of life improvements along with bug fixes and game balancing. Once we have reviewed all feedback, we then plan to share a roadmap that details what’s in the pipeline for new features over the next few months.  [/p][p]How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version? [/p][p]The core vision of Fellowship is available right from the start of Early Access, but for the full version we’re planning on including more content, systems, and features. We have lots of ideas and plans, but will also take feedback from our players to heart and may make adjustments if we hear that there’s something the community really wants to see! [/p][p]Why Early Access? [/p][p]We want to involve our community more directly in the creation of Fellowship and with the public tests we’ve already completed, we’re convinced that the best version of Fellowship is one that is made with and for our players. [/p][p]We already have a strong foundation for what Fellowship is, and now we’re excited to put it in the hands of our players so we can hear what they have to say about every change and update that we make to improve the game. [/p][p]Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access? [/p][p]Fellowship is planned to be in Early Access for approximately six months, but this can change depending on community feedback – as we will strive to discover what the community wants in Fellowship to help shape it into the best possible game it can be before it enters 1.0 launch.  [/p][p]Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access? [/p][p]We haven’t made a final decision about pricing after Early Access, though the price may increase for the 1.0 full release. [/p][p]How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process? [/p][p]Throughout Early Access we will be keeping an eye on community feedback on Steam, Discord, and other social media channels. We may not reply to every comment and suggestion, but please know that we are listening to you! [/p][p]Our close relationship with our community is something that we will be fostering through streams and events where our players will have their voices heard so keep an eye out for new events that we’ll be working. [/p][p]What's ArcLite?
