Surprise! Demo Available Until Tomorrow!

[h2]Fellows, we have a BIG surprise! We’ve decided to have the Public Playtest (Demo) available until tomorrow (March 4th) at 10:00am PT! 🙌 [/h2]

We want to give you all even more time to play the demo across all servers and continue to go on epic dungeon runs. Yesterday, we noticed that the North America server was experiencing lag spikes (sorry about that!) We’d like to get to the bottom of what the issue could be on the NA server side, so if possible, please play on that server to help us out there. 🛠️

Heads up that Fellowship will undergo maintenance later today. 📜 We'll give an update about this when everything's set up on our end.

Public Playtest Patch Notes - March 1

Hi Fellows!

We'll be releasing a patch today to fix crashes and add some balancing changes. We'll be bringing down the servers temporarily for maintenance as well. ⚒️

Below are the notes for today's patch.

[h3]GENERAL
[/h3]
  • Discovered and fixed another issue causing crashes related to cooldown recovery.
  • Fixed an issue causing players who rejoin an ongoing dungeon to not be targetable.
  • Fixed an issue causing players who rejoin an ongoing dungeon to not get loot from the end of dungeon chest.
  • Players who rejoin an ongoing dungeon that have an empty health bar will no longer need to restart the game again. The health bar will update upon taking damage.
  • Fixed an issue causing all ability cooldowns to reset when players rejoined an ongoing dungeon.


[h3]RELICS
[/h3]
  • Fixed the tooltip for Blood Rite Drums. Now correctly states that it provides +50% Cooldown Recovery for the duration of the effect.
  • The cooldown of Blood Rite Drums has been increased to 3 minutes, up from 2.5 minutes.
  • The cooldown of Salt Wash Elixir has been reduced to 2 minutes, down from 5 minutes.
  • The cooldown of Ancient Wardstone has been reduced to 2 minutes, down from 5 minutes.
  • The cooldown of Sinbinding Stone has been reduced to 3 minutes, down from 5 minutes.
  • The cooldown of Chalice of Al'zerac's Essence has been reduced to 3 minutes, down from 5 minutes.


[h3]RIME
[/h3]
  • Rime Talent: Avalanche now causes Icy Comet to have a 20% chance to strike twice and a 4% chance to strike three times, down from 30% / 8%.
  • Rime Talent: Soulfrost Torrent now increases the damage of Freezing Torrent by 50%, down from 100% - resulting in a total of 200% increased damage on a full channel considering the increased duration of the channel still being double.
  • Rime Talent: Soulfrost Torrent's proc per minute reduced to 1.5 (was 2.0).
  • Rime Talent: Winter's Blessing now converts 30% of damage to healing, down from 100%.



[h3]SYLVIE
[/h3]
  • Safe Haven cooldown reduced to 120 seconds, down from 180 seconds.
  • Safe Haven duration increased to 15 seconds, up from 12 seconds.
  • Safe Haven damage reduction increased to 25%, up from 20%.
  • Fluttercall: Jubilee now redistributes health in the group every 2 seconds, down from every 3 seconds.


[h3]TARIQ[/h3]
  • Focused Wrath now increases the damage of your next two Skull Crushers or Hammer Storms by 50%, up from 30%.
  • Raging Currents damage increased by 50%.


[h3]STORMWATCH & DEMONBRAND RUINS
[/h3]
  • Mancatchers will now wait longer after initiated to use their Grip ability.
  • Mancatcher's Grip damage reduced by 40%.
  • The minimum range of Mancatcher's Grip ability has been increased to 1500, up from 1000.


[h3]SAILOR'S ABYSS
[/h3]
  • Vengeful Shade's Witherbane Toxin now deals damage every 3 seconds, up from every 2 seconds.
  • Coral Lasher's Disgorged Muck cooldown increased to 12 seconds, up from 8 seconds.
  • Water Elemental's Hydro Bolt cooldown increased to 15 seconds, up from 12 seconds.


[h3]THE WYRMHEART
[/h3]
  • Coldheart Assassin's Wicked Strikes damage reduced by 20%.
  • Coldheart Assassin's Poison Dagger damage reduced by 35%.
  • Greater Ice Elemental's Stomp ability damage reduced by 28%.

Public Playtest Patch Notes - February 28

[h3]GENERAL[/h3]
  • We have increased the maintenance warning timer to 30 minutes, up from 15 minutes. Unfortunately, this requires us to patch the game, so this patch will be the last one with a 15-minute warning.

[h3]STABILITY[/h3]
  • Fixed another issue causing crashes when players used Cooldown Reducing talents or effects and Cooldown Recovery. This is the issue that was primarily affecting Rime players, but should also prevent crashes for all heroes related to cooldown reduction.

[h3]SPIRIT ABILITY UPDATE[/h3]
  • Spirit ability charge lost upon death has been reduced to 25%, was 50%.

[h3]TARIQ[/h3]
  • Auto Attack / Heavy Strike damage increased by 10%.
  • Leap Slam damage increased by 15%.
  • Raging Tempest's tooltip incorrectly stated that Raging Currents increases critical strike chance by 1.5% per stack. Now correctly states each stack increases critical strike chance by 1%.
  • Culling Strike's base damage increased by 33%.
  • Added information on Culling Strike's tooltip to clarify that the ability does not affect the swing timer.
  • Intimidate cooldown reduced to 150 seconds, down from 180 seconds.
  • Intimidated enemies can now take 100% more damage before the fear breaks.
  • Talent: Blood & Thunder now increases Chain Lightning damage by 25%, up from 20%.

[h3]HELENA[/h3]
  • Helena's maximum Toughness value is based on her strength (1200% of Strength baseline). This has been increased to 1800% Strength.
  • Helena's Toughness generation from Shields Up, Shield Slam & successful blocks is also based on her strength. All three abilities now have 50% increased Toughness generation.
  • The above 2 changes cause Toughness generation to function the same as before, while reducing the amount of Toughness lost when taking damage, improving her overall damage mitigation.
  • The amount of Toughness generated by successful blocks has been increased by an additional 25% (from 4% Toughness per block, to 5%).
  • Shields Up duration increased to 12 seconds, up from 8 seconds.

[h3]MEIKO[/h3]
  • Serenity no longer has a global Cooldown.
  • Stone Shield is now more resilient. The health of each stone has been increased by 33%.
  • Talent: Spirited Advance had an issue causing the free applications of Spirited Strikes and Spirited Vortex to not work properly. This has been fixed.
  • KNOWN BUG AND REQUEST: Meiko's "Spirited Advance" talent is causing lag spikes. Until we have a chance to fix it, we recommend Meiko players to not use that talent for now. Sorry for the inconvenience!
  • Talent: Harsh Winds tooltip clarified to indicate that the attack speed slow only affects enemy auto attacks.
  • Talent: Forbidden Technique now accumulates 15% of all damage you deal to the target, up from 10%.

[h3]RIME[/h3]
  • Talent: Glacial Assault now requires 4 stacks to activate, down from 5.

[h3]SYLVIE[/h3]
  • Talent: Bluey's Gambit damage reduction when placed on another player increased to 10%, up from 5%.
  • Talent: Bloomin' Boomshrooms now heals allies near the target for 75% intellect per explosion, up from 50%.

[h3]PROGRESSION[/h3]
  • All types of Ingots and Aethers will now continue dropping as the difficulty increases.
  • Ingot and Aether drop chances continue increasing up to difficulty 24.
  • End of dungeon group loot UI updated to support showing up to 8 items for players, as there now is a small chance for players to get all 3 Ingots, all 3 Aethers, an Item, and a Gem in a single chest.
  • Fixed an issue with the 'Might of the Minotaur II' ruby gem power causing it to only provide 1% increased intellect for intellect heroes. It now correctly increases intellect by 10%.
  • Fixed an issue with item scrapping UI, causing items in the scrap window to become scrapped when a player pressed the "Eject Gem" button.

[h3]CURSES[/h3]
  • Blood Shards damage reduced to 2.5%, down from 3% (tooltip incorrectly stated 4%, now updated to 2.5%).
  • Binding Ice now roots the afflicted player for 3 seconds, down from 4 seconds.
  • Meteor Rain's fragments now have 10% smaller hit boxes.
  • The killscore break points that cause Malevolent Spirits to appear is now every 12% in dungeons and 24% in adventures, down from every 10% in dungeons and 20% in adventures.
  • Carnage now causes 10% of all damage dealt by players being replicated as healing on the group, down from 20%.
  • Challenge now increases non-boss enemies' health and damage by 10%, down from 15%.
  • Ultimatum now increases boss health and damage by 10%, down from 15%.

[h3]DEMONIC RITUAL[/h3]
PROPHET EZ'RATH
  • Wicked Hook ability is now visible on the boss timer.
  • Increased minimum range of Wicked Hook to 1500 (was 1000).
  • Wicked Hook's initial damage reduced by 35%.

[h3]ICE CAVES[/h3]
ELDRIN ASSASSIN
  • Poison Dagger initial damage reduced by 24%.

[h3]CITHREL'S ASCENT[/h3]
BLADE OF CITHREL
  • Ice Breaker damage reduced by 17%.
