  • [p]Improved joystick sensitivity in menus; selections should now feel smoother and more controlled. [/p]
  • [p]Added an animated white outline to better highlight the current selection.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue in the Loadout screen where closing a skill description always moved the selection back to Play.[/p]
  • [p]Slightly increased overall difficulty: the first depth remains introductory, while later depths offer more challenge.[/p]
  • [p]Added icons to event arrows (e.g., shops, broken allies, etc.) for clarity.[/p]

Arcadium - Space Odyssey: Runs Great on Steam Deck

[p]Thanks to everyone from r/SteamDeck who tested Arcadium - Space Odyssey!
The community confirmed that the game runs smoothly on the Deck, keeping stable FPS and excellent battery life. Controls work well in both handheld and docked mode, and I’ll keep fine-tuning sensitivity before launch.[/p][p]I’m hoping to get Arcadium: Space Odyssey officially Steam Deck Verified before release.[/p][p]Thanks again for all the feedback and support, it’s been incredibly helpful![/p]

New Language: The game is now fully available in French.[/p][p]New Stage: Discover a new stage introducing Cosmic Essence, which now begins to drop across the galaxy.[/p][p]

Major Update – Getting Closer to Release!

  • [p]Depth 11: Aliens evolve into even stronger forms.[/p]
  • [p]Depth 14: Variant stage with only icy and oceanic planets (rich in EXP).[/p]

[p]New Features & Content[/p][p]New items: Miner Beacon and Phoenix Storm.
Added keyboard and controller input glyphs to the game.
[/p][p]Game Improvements[/p][p]Various balance improvements to talents, artifacts, items and skills.
Reduced mass of elite enemies so pull and push abilities better work on them.
Adjusted gold pricing for common and rare items, and various interactions; increased gold resources from various planets.
Added a hard cap of 10 allies to the game; the % hp reduction overtime from some allies has been removed.
The final wave background now shifts to the reddish "Arcadium" background, and is now also animated during the final wave.
Slighty increased the base movement speed of all the spaceships.
Also the fifth stage is now available through the demo.[/p][p][/p][p]Bug Fixes and General Improvements[/p][p]Fixed an issue where, after dying, the HP bar was still visible.
Fixed an issue where, "clear bomb" (from revives, end-game and cosmic rings) was not killing undead aliens (just transforming them).
Fixed an issue where the projectiles from Vulcan were targetting celestial beacons.
Fixed an issue where rerolling without gold would still change the current selections in the talent tree (only visually).
Fixed an issue where Living Sun item was still mentioning a duration.
Fixed a visual bug with Living Sun on game resume.
Fixed an issue where entities could spawn without full HP.
Fixed an issue where fiery phoenix was being destroyed by enemies explosions (treated as a simple bullet).
Fixed performance issues with stars and ricochet.
Fixed an issue where revenge blast and similar abilities could spawn indefinitely; also fixed an issue where those same abilities were not properly triggered when they had to.
Fixed an issue where a certain sundry alien could be invincible forever.
Fixed an issue where the game would still display 15 minutes stages, despite the stages now being 12 minutes.
