Hello everyone!


It's been an exciting and busy month for the Astrometica team, as we've been hard at work addressing your valuable feedback from the demo. We've implemented numerous improvements and introduced new mechanics to enhance your gaming experience.

We've dedicated significant time to refining our 3D models, and we're in the process of remaking some of the models featured in the demo. Currently, our focus is on revamping all the corridors, and we can't wait to showcase the updated look in our next devlog.

A key addition to Astrometica is the alien infection system, intricately woven into the game's narrative. Brace yourselves for dangerous areas that demand special equipment for exploration. Here's a sneak peek at the alien infection system and a glimpse of the extraterrestrial creature:

We've expanded the universe of Astrometica with new locations and secrets, adding depth to the game's storyline. Here's a preview of some of the places you'll explore:

We've introduced several new buildable objects to empower your gameplay:

Smelter Device:
Melt minerals into ingots with the Smelter Device, allowing you to control the quantity as needed.


Recycle Machine:
Efficiently recycle any items you require using this device.


Upgrade Station:
Craft and upgrade your equipment with the Upgrade Station, ensuring you're always prepared for the challenges ahead.


Advanced Fabricator:
Create more advanced items with this versatile device, providing the flexibility to choose the quantity you wish to craft.

Exciting Times Ahead for Astrometica

Hello Astrometica Pioneers,


Your unwavering support and enthusiasm continue to fuel our journey. The demo has been an incredible experience, and we're thrilled to share a brief update on our upcoming plans.

Firstly, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks. The overwhelming response to our demo has been nothing short of astonishing, resulting in over 6000 wishlists. It's heartwarming to know that you're as excited as we are for the adventures to come.

Now, let's talk about the big picture. While the demo provides just a glimpse of what Astrometica has to offer, the full game is a vast universe with countless stories and adventures. Our target is to launch the Early Access version in Q1-Q2 2024. And, yes, more playtests are on the horizon, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to dive deeper into the world of Astrometica.

Here's a snapshot of what we've been working on this month:

Floating Space Islands: We're introducing new environments, adding a sense of wonder to the game.



Vehicle Control Improvements: We've fine-tuned the controls, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable ride.

Space Donuts: Prepare your taste buds for some unique space-themed food items, including the delectable "Space Donuts."



Scanner Tool: We've developed a new tool to help you delve deeper into the game world. Scan objects to learn more about them or unlock new blueprints.

Farming System: Ever dreamt of having your own space garden? We're working on a farming system that will allow you to cultivate plants and trees inside your base.

Enhanced Options and Improved Menus: We've been listening to your valuable feedback and are committed to making the game more accessible with better menu options.

Demo Patch #2

Patch Notes - Astrometica Demo

  • Fixed a memory leak issue caused by the sorting system.
  • Resolved a graphical bug causing missing shadows.
  • Fixed a loading screen issue that caused the player to float for a few seconds.
  • Addressed a bug where the second blueprint in signal 1 was not functioning.
  • Fixed saving bugs that allowed destroyed builds to be available after a reload.
  • Resolved text display issues for medium storage when building too many.
  • Fixed a bug related to marking signals.
  • Addressed a UI disappearing bug.
  • And more minor bug fixes.

  • Improved the corridor snap menu to show only for corridors.
  • Optimized and improved the save system.
  • Keycards now display in the inventory, indicating which door they are for.
