This might not be your usual update devlog - but a celebration nonetheless. Exactly one year ago, the islands opened its beaches for Early Access!
For our Anniversary Bash, we're dropping a special anniversary bolt-action rifle skin for every deserving Strayer - for FREE! Also, we're introducing a very familiar face-turned-Rock skin that'll surely make some "heads roll". And last but definitely not the least - a special, one-of-a-kind skin you can only receive if you're a base-building champion - which brings us to our very special event that'll test your Strayed engineering knowledge to the core!

So, some of you might be thinking - who or what exactly is this "Dinkleberg" character? Good question.
We'd love to answer this, but honestly, we believe the community deserves to have its own story about who they might think Dinkleberg is. Remember the stories we used to tell about Dinkleberg's adventure on Discord? That was an adventure written by another community member - just like all the Strayed stories written over the past year of Early Access.
So - a short answer - no, we can't really say who Dinkleberg is. For now - let's leave him as a Rock skin.

[h2]Foundation Day - The Strayed Base-Building Contest![/h2]
Ooh, a contest - and not just another Discord event - it's a base-building contest where you can win an event-exclusive skin!
The base-building contest will have 3 categories - Defense, Beauty, and Compact. To participate, you must provide a clip of your base on Discord, just like you would for our regular Clip of the Week events, but with a different command. The community will then vote for their favorites per category.
This will all happen during the event duration. The user with the highest-voted submission for each category will receive an event-exclusive skin, plus their own Dinkleberg Rock Skin to top it off!
The event runs from Friday, April 18th, 2025 @ 6:00 PM EST to Monday, April 28th, 2025 @ 6:00PM EST.
