[h2]Let’s begin the 117th edition of our competition![/h2]

Create a stunning screenshot and submit it on the War Thunder Steam Community Hub with the tag #WTscreen117. You have time until the 3rd of May to submit your screenshot.

After that date, 6 winners will be selected (3 of which will be the highest rated by the community and 3 selected by our judges), each of which receive a reward of 300GE.

Your screenshot must include a player vehicle from rank 4 or below.
You must add the #WTscreen117 tag (title cannot have any other text in it).
Artists may only win by popular vote once per four screenshot competitions.
• Screenshots need to be compliant with the War Thunder rules.
  
• You need to be the author of the screenshot.
  
• Screenshot needs to be new. You cannot use those which have previously been published or used in other competitions.
  
• We will only accept raw screenshots from the game. You cannot use any editing software nor any other visual enhancements (like Nvidia Ansel filters).
  
• You can use filters and settings built into War Thunder.
  
• You can use the replay functionality built into War Thunder.

• The impact sectors of spall from APFSDS and HEAT shells have been recalculated. For tank-caliber APFSDS, the spalling density in the range of 7-14 degrees has been increased, while the spalling density in the range of 0-7 degrees has been decreased. The spalling of APFSDS from automatic cannons have been rebalanced to increase the amount of fragments in the range of 5-10 degrees. The spall dispersion range in a wide sector has been increased for rotating and non-rotating shaped charge (HEAT) projectiles. The maximum spall dispersion angle of rotating shaped rounds has been increased from +/- 40 to +/- 50 degrees with a slight increase in the wide sector spalling density.
  

• Su-22M3, Su-22M3 (Italy) — The R-60M missile has been replaced with the R-60MK.
  
• Su-22UM3K — the ability to use R-60MK missiles has been added.
  

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

On April 25th, Italy annually celebrates the Day of Liberation from Nazism and Fascism. On this day in 1945 a large-scale guerrilla uprising began, ending the Italian Social Republic and the German occupation of Northern Italy.

Task: Play 3 battles using Italian vehicles at rank III or higher to receive the "Italy liberation day 2024" decal!

Additional details:

• You must use a minimum of rank III.
  
• Your activity must not be below 70%.
  
• You can complete the task in random battles, except for Enduring Confrontation missions, and [Assault] mode.
  
• Track your progress in the hangar by clicking Nickname → Achievements → Holidays → Italian Liberation Day.
  
• You can find the decal in the “Holidays” tab in the Customization menu.

We’re presenting an interesting range of items that are available for Warbonds and earned in the Battle Pass! There’s decals, decorations, camouflages, a brand-new pinup, and some premium vehicles.

Take note of the American T14 heavy tank that combines impressive survivability with good mobility and decent firepower!

The Warbond shop is available to players that have vehicles of rank III and up and is part of the Battle Pass. You can purchase items with the special ‘Warbond’ currency that can be obtained by unlocking Battle Pass levels.

[h2]M3A3 (1st RTG) (China)[/h2]

A "Stuart" with a unique camouflage of the Chinese-American 1st Reserve Tank Group. It is extremely mobile and ideal for capturing points and attacking as a group.

[h2]Project 123K (A-11)[/h2]

The experimental Project 123K (A-11) torpedo boat is fast and, thanks to its fins, rides the waves stably, which means it can shoot more accurately than fin-less boats. But it is best suited for quickly capturing remote points.

[h2]Wellington Mk.Ic (Germany)[/h2]

A British twin-engined bomber that was taken by the Germans as a trophy. It cannot compete with other aircraft, but its good survivability and impressive bomb load will allow it to complete its combat mission with honor!

[h2]Thunderbolt Mk.1 (Britain)[/h2]

The US P-47 in service with the Royal Air Force. An excellent high-speed fighter, capable of playing the role of an attack aircraft thanks to its combination of flight characteristics and an impressive arsenal of weapons.

[h2]RN Tigre (Italy) - first time in the store[/h2]

With one main-caliber salvo, the Tiger can inflict significant damage on the enemy. The main thing is to find cover for reloading and skillfully alternate between high-explosive and armor-piercing high-explosive shells.

[h2]T14 (USA)[/h2]

A heavy tank prototype jointly developed by the United States and Great Britain. Excellent armor with screens and corners, a large-caliber machine gun, a reliable penetrating weapon with a stabilizer and an armor-piercing projectile to combat other heavy weapons.


[h2]Pinup “Gemini Zodiac”[/h2]

Decals include a trophy with tiger themed decals, as well as a new Gemini Zodiac pinup, continuing the series of themed decals. In the "Camouflage" trophy you will find decorations that will help hide your tank from the eyes of enemies. The player icons in the corresponding trophy this time depict tank crews from the USSR. Trophies with random camouflages, as before, become available as new store levels are unlocked.

A large number of usable items are also available in the store: boosters, universal backups, wagers and orders, rental of premium vehicles, and also at higher levels of the store - talismans.
