The series of tournaments dedicated to 11 years of War Thunder has come to an end. Those of you who have watched the live streams on Twitch have received unique camouflages and a decorator through Twitch Drops and were the first to witness who won in the tournaments!

Now, the time has come to reveal the results and award the champions.

Introducing a new trophy with camouflages created by authors from the Live.WT portal! The new Esports trophy includes 21 camouflages for various vehicles: 12 aircraft, 8 tanks and 1 helicopter. Among them are both — those that could be seen in Twitch Drops and on our streams, as well as completely new ones. The full list is below.

Like the Esports I trophy, the new trophy can be obtained by simply playing regular War Thunder battles. In the future, it will be possible to obtain with an increased chance by participating in Esports events and War Thunder tournaments. PlayStation and Xbox players can purchase the trophy in the Item Shop and open it with Golden Eagles. Read more on our Wiki.

To open it, you’ll need to purchase a key on the Market (income is shared with the authors of the camouflages). You can either activate the coupon on your account, or trade it on the Market to get Gaijin Coins (GJN). A trophy can be sold as well!

To unlock the trophy, you'll need an “Esport” key that can be purchased on the Market for GJN.

• Fixes to automatic gun loaders:
  
  • The “idle” reload cycle where it was impossible to shoot even though a shell was loaded into the gun has been fixed.
    
  • Incorrect reload time multiplier has been fixed.
    
  • A bug where the gun could start reloading even though the first stage ammo stowage was still empty has been fixed.
    

[h3]Aircraft[/h3]

• A bug that caused some aircraft and helicopters to incorrectly display gun caliber and the amount of ammunition in X-Ray mode has been fixed.
  

[h3]Interface[/h3]

• A bug where the language selected on Steam, and not in the game settings, was the language used in game has been fixed.
  

[h3]Locations[/h3]

• A bug that made it possible to drive into buildings that had been damaged by artillery on some maps has been fixed. (Report)

• A bug that caused a difference in the position of missiles on the client and server has been fixed. (Report)

There’s been a lot going on in War Thunder in 2023, with a fair share of challenging and uplifting moments. Alongside our regular schedule of major updates that contain bug fixes, new maps, vehicles, and overall new content, this year we’ve been working hard on fulfilling the Roadmap thanks to your feedback.

Many of you have been with us for a long time, with lots of you having joined us for the first time this year in 2023. Record player numbers were hit on Steam, with an all-time player peak happening just this month, which is a testament of the enthusiasm in the community.

The previously announced progression changes have been implemented:

• Modification research point cost for endline vehicles has been reduced.
  
• Added free backups when purchasing Squadron Vehicles for Golden Eagles.
  
• SKR-7 — research cost increased from 180,000 to 520,000 squadron activity points.
  
• Celere Sahariano and Strv m/41 S-I — RP multiplier has been increased from 1.12 to 1.18, and purchase price has increased from 700 to 850 Golden Eagles.
  

[h3]Aircraft[/h3]

• F-111A — the ability to carry 6 x 750 lb M117 bombs on 2 outer hardpoints on each wing (points 1, 2, 7, 8) has been removed. Source: T.O. 1F-111A-1 - F-111A Flight Manual - 1967.
  

[h3]Missions[/h3]

• In Ground Arcade and Realistic battles, all missions in the Stalingrad location are excluded from the rotation at a Battle Rating of 8.0 and higher. Missions in this location are now available from a Battle Rating of 3.7 (2.3 in RB) to 7.7.
  
• The chance of getting into a night battle when the “Participate in night battles” option is enabled has been increased.
  

[h3]Interface[/h3]

• A bug that could cause friend requests sent from contacts that were not accepted to display in the friends list itself has been fixed. This led to difficulties when using the friends list because the number of contacts was exceeded.
  
• A bug where turning off the UI in-game caused the HMD (Helmet Mounted Display) to also be turned off in the cockpit has been fixed. (Report)
  
• AV-8B Plus (Italy) — a bug where launching a missile caused the seeker lock indicator to remain on the heads-up display has been fixed. (Report)
  
• F-111A — the RWR being overly large on the screen has been fixed.
  
• MiG-29SMT — an issue where a circular radar display replaced the sector display, if while in HMD mode of the radar, the acquisition frame was moved beyond the range of the radar’s deflection has been fixed.
  

[h3]Other fixes[/h3]

• In battle replays, a bug that caused an incorrect explosion effect to happen when high-explosive shells went through bushes has been fixed. (Report)
  
• Incorrect display of 3D decorations when near additional armor has been fixed.
  
• A bug that caused the visual effect of an ATGM’s engine to be visible throughout its entire flight has been fixed.
  
• A bug that caused HQ FXAA and FXAA anti-aliasing settings not to work has been fixed. (Report)
