Update 14.08.2020 (1.99.1.79)

  • A bug which would result in the player’s screen becoming blacked-out while viewing the replay of the their ground vehicle’s destruction has been fixed
  • A bug which would cause elements of the player’s interface to shift to the center of the screen during battles has been fixed
  • A bug where a spectator’s camera could become stuck in one position when a player switched their vehicle to an aircraft/helicopter during ground battles has been fixed

The following vehicles have had the cost of APFSDS rounds corrected as follows:
  • modification level I — 200 Silver Lions
  • modification level II — 300 Silver Lions
  • modification level III — 400 Silver Lions
  • modification level IV — 600 Silver Lions

If a vehicle has access to only one APFSDS round (at level III), its cost is set equal to the modification level IV (600 SL).

Ground Vehicle model, damage model, characteristic and weaponry changes:
  • The following changes affect vehicles of ranks VI-VII:
    • HEAT-FS shell has been designated default for vehicles that previously had the APFS-DS shell as default (Except British ground vehicles - they still do not use HEAT shells)
    • The distribution of shell modifications has been changed as follows: if there is only one type of armour-piercing finned shell in the case of default HEAT shell, it will be located at the 3rd (III) level of researchable modifications. If the default HEAT shell has two types of the armour-piercing finned shells, the first one will be placed at the first (I) level and the second one at the 4th (IV) level of researchable modifications.   • IPM1 - M833 shell has been added to ammunition loadout.
  • Leclerc - OFL G1 120 shell has been added to the ammunition loadout.
  • In order to prevent climbing in tracked ground vehicles on hills with very steep slopes, the physics of the track to surface traction have been reworked. Now it will be more difficult to climb slopes at a very steep angles in RB and SB game modes.
Aircraft characteristics, damage model, and weapon improvements:
  • A-4B — A bug where the central AGM-12 Bullpup missile could be fired through the central landing gear rack has been fixed.
  • Mi-24V, Mi-24P — A bug with the necessary condition of opening the 9М114 Shturm х4 preset modification, S24 х4 has been fixed. Now you need to research the RP-2-149TK and S-24 modifications.
  • A32A — Radar functionality has been added.
  • La-5, La-7 (all modifications) — A bug where it wasn’t possible to create user made camouflage for the aircraft has been fixed.
  • Hurricane Mk.II (USSR) — The amount of ammunition on the UBK machine guns has been increased to 120 shots per machine gun.
  • F86K (all modifications) — A bug where the researched modifications of the new cannons affected the failure time negatively has been fixed.
  • Il-2-37 — The amount of ammunition on the 37 mm NS-37 cannons has been increased to 56 shots per cannon.
  • D-501 — A mismatch between MAC 34 machine guns and their names has been corrected.
  • CW-21 — The content of the ammunition belts for offensive weaponry has been changed to an earlier version.
  • P-66 — The content of the ammunition belts for offensive weaponry has been changed to an earlier version
  • Il-2 M-82 — The incorrect designation of the 12.7 mm turret machine gun in the modification window has been fixed. Previously, it was listed as an offensive machine gun.
  • MG151 20mm — A bug where the modifications of the research of the new cannons would not positively affect the failure time of the cannons has been fixed.
  • GSh-30-2K — Incorrect displaying of the tracert for the OFЗ shell has been fixed.

From 09:00 GMT on the 12th of August until 09:00 GMT on the 13th of August


Win 3 battles whilst controlling Soviet aircraft (from rank III or above with an in-game activity of 60% or higher) and get the unique emblem of Russian Aerospace Forces.
  • You can follow your progress by clicking on your Nickname → Achievements → Russian Aerospace Forces Day.
  • The task can be completed in all game modes except “Enduring Confrontation” and “Assault”.
  • After completing the task the decal can be found in “Decals → USSR”

Aircraft characteristics, damage model, and weapon improvements:
  • Parameters relating to the resistance of the aircraft’s materials (cladding and power kit) to secondary shell fragments have been fixed. Previously, aircraft and helicopters had an inflated survivability when they were under fire from anti-aircraft shells with remote detonators.
Sound:
  • The sound characteristics of the guns on ground vehicles have been corrected.
  • The volume level of the player’s aircraft engines has been slightly raised.
  • A bug where the start and stop sounds coming from the engines of some allied/enemy tanks would sound as if they were closer and louder than the regular engine sound itself, has been fixed.
Fleet:
  • Admiral Graf Spee — The display of the ammunition amount for the main calibre aft stock has been fixed.

Sound
  • The whistle from nearby cannon shells currently has low playback probability. We continue to improve\
  • this effect and in future updates the sound of a passing shell will work more accurately and realistically.
  • The sound of low calibre bullets passing at close range is now quieter.
  • The whistle before the explosion of an artillery shell strike now has a probability of playback but it will not be played every time.
  • Taking into account player feedback the following changes have been made
    • The volume of enemy/allied aircraft engines has been lowered.
    • The volume of the enemy/allied ground vehicles as well as the sound from the player’s ground vehicle have been increased.
    • The volume of ATGM and rocket volleys has been lowered.
  • The sound of the Ju 87 Stuka siren at long and short range has been changed.
  • A bug has been fixed where active air defense (flares) sounded like ATGM’s when firing.
  • The sound of allied/enemy machine guns dependent on distance from them has been adjusted. Now the distance is more noticeable with the ear.
  • The sound of explosions dependent on distance from them (in increasing) has been adjusted. Now the distance is more noticeable with the ear.
