Update 2.43.0.37



  • Profile background customization has been added.
  • Profile icon frame customization has been added.
  • A bug that allowed the target markers to show outside of boundaries of the radar indicator when in TWS mode has been fixed.
  • ILS-31 — a bug that caused the target aspect arrow to show for multiple contacts at the same time when in TWS mode has been fixed. (Report).

  • Rafale C F3 — IR AAM seeker indication has been added to the HMD.
  • Kfir C.10 — a bug that caused the inability to select the radar module in X-ray mode has been fixed. (Report).

  • BMD-4M — a bug that caused the damage of 100-mm gun barrel to also make the 30-mm gun barrel look damaged has been fixed.
  • BMD-4M — a bug that caused a damaged 30-mm barrel to clip through the fixtures has been fixed.
  • PzH 2000 — the armor of the hull sides has been corrected.
  • PzH 2000 — the shapes and locations of internal modules have been corrected.
  • PzH 2000 — the folding animation of the shield plate located above the gun has been corrected. (Report). The bug which may have caused this shield to rotate incorrectly at high gun elevation angles has been fixed. (Report).

[h2]Interface[/h2]

  • A bug in the tank sight settings menu that caused the settings in the “Bullet Type” section to contain two black color options has been fixed.
  • A bug in the tank sight settings menu that caused the options’ values in the “Bullet Type” section to reset when reloading the sight has been fixed. (Report).
  • A bug in the tank sight settings menu that caused the color values in the “Rangefinder” section to reset when reloading the sight has been fixed. (Report).

[h2]Graphics[/h2]

  • A bug that caused the torpedo trail to be missing on water effects quality set to low has been fixed. (Report).

[h2]Controls[/h2]

  • A bug when enabling one of auxiliary axes (e.g. view) would block keyboard/button-bound aircraft controls has been fixed. (Report).

Aircraft
  • Typhoon GR.4, EF-2000, F-2000A — empty mass has been reduced. Previously the empty mass included the weight of countermeasures.
  • EF-2000 — a bug that caused the “Targeting Optics View” control to not switch the view to the targeting pod camera has been fixed. (Report).
  • Typhoon GR.4, EF-2000, F-2000A — IR AAM seeker indication has been added to HUD and HMD.
  • Rafale C F3 — IR AAM seeker indication has been added to HUD.
  • Rafale C F3 — the number of datalink channels for the MICA-EM missiles has been increased to 8. (Report).
  • Rafale C F3 — MAWS dead zones in vertical coverage have been removed.
  • A bug that caused mines dropped from aircraft to slow down when approaching the water has been fixed.
  • A bug in Air Simulator Battles that caused some aircraft to sometimes roll backwards when spawning on airfield after rearming has been fixed. (Report).


Naval Vessels
  • HMS Rodney — the ship flooding system has been fixed. Now flooded bow compartments don’t critically impact the trim, so the ship’s bow doesn’t dive as much blocking the fire of main caliber guns.
Interface
  • A bug that sometimes caused the vehicles acquired from the “Snow globe” to be marked as already owned even if the player just got them for the first time has been fixed. (Report).
  • A bug that caused the vehicle search by name in “Favorite vehicle” profile showcase to not work has been fixed. (Report).
  • A bug that caused the Caps Lock state indicator on the login screen to differ from the actual state of the key if the Caps Lock had been switched when the game wasn’t in the focus has been fixed.

Screenshot Competition – Storm Warning!



Welcome to the 151st War Thunder Steam Screenshot Competition!


We loved seeing all of your screenshots from last week! This week, Storm Warning was released, and it has brought many new vehicles and a location. Take a screenshot of your favorite new content! The three most popular and three selected by us will get 300 GE. See the winners down below!

[h2]Let’s begin the 151st edition of our competition![/h2]

Create a stunning screenshot and submit it on the War Thunder Steam Community Hub with the tag #WTscreen151. You have time until the 27th of December to submit your screenshot.

After that date, 6 winners will be selected (3 of which will be the highest rated by the community and 3 selected by our judges), each of which receive a reward of 300GE.

[h3]Terms:[/h3]
    Your screenshot must include a vehicle or location introduced in the latest major update, “Storm Warning”.
    You must add the #WTscreen151 tag (title cannot have any other text in it).
    Artists may only win by popular vote once per four screenshot competitions.
  • Screenshots need to be compliant with the War Thunder rules.
  • You need to be the author of the screenshot.
  • Screenshot needs to be new. You cannot use those which have previously been published or used in other competitions.
  • We will only accept raw screenshots from the game. You cannot use any editing software nor any other visual enhancements (like Nvidia Ansel filters).
  • You can use filters and settings built into War Thunder.
  • You can use the replay functionality built into War Thunder.
  • Rewards will be delivered to the author's account within 14 working days.
