[h2]Let’s begin the 119th edition of our competition![/h2]

Create a stunning screenshot and submit it on the War Thunder Steam Community Hub with the tag #WTscreen119. You have time until the 17th of May to submit your screenshot.

After that date, 6 winners will be selected (3 of which will be the highest rated by the community and 3 selected by our judges), each of which receive a reward of 300GE.

Your screenshot must include a friendly and enemy vehicle.
You must add the #WTscreen119 tag (title cannot have any other text in it).
Artists may only win by popular vote once per four screenshot competitions.

We’ve prepared trophies with rewards from previous Victory Day events that can be found in the in-game Item Shop. Purchasing a trophy will give you Allied weapon decorations or decals that you don’t yet have. The decals are dedicated to three main Soviet military memorials: “Rear-Front”, “Motherland”, and “Warrior Liberator”. The decorations are: “Bren Mk II”, “ROKS-3”, “M1 Garand”, “SG-43” and “Maxim-Tokarev Machine Gun”, plus the “Matilda II” and “120-PM-38” for Bluewater fleet vehicles.

[h2]Legend of Victory: Eremin’s Yak-3![/h2]


From May 8th until May 20th, take part in the Legend of Victory event to earn yourself themed decals, a decoration and a vehicle. The grand vehicle reward is a personalized Yak-3 owned by Soviet Major Boris Eremin!

Collective farmer Ferapont Golovatov, together with his family, relatives and neighbors collected an amount of 100,000 rubles and transferred it to the Soviet Government in May 1944 for the construction of a personalized Yak-3 fighter with a dedicated inscription for Major Boris Eremin. Eremin flew this aircraft until the very end of the war and achieved 6 aerial victories.

About this tank

• This is the IS-2 model 1944. It’s a slow tank that takes a long time to reload, but hits from its cannon deals devastating damage, even from longer distances thanks to its excellent armor penetration and post-pen damage. This particular IS-2 was driven by Mikhail Krasikov, whose younger brother Nikolai died in November 1944 and was posthumously awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union title. In memory of his brother, Mikhail painted the inscription “Revenge for the Hero brother” on the turret of the tank.
