We’re excited to invite you to the War Thunder special tank football event! You will experience the reworked physics of tank to ball interactions, as well as new to the game goalie mechanics, which will allow you to earn mission points and progress up through goalkeeper achievements!

To help you prepare for the competition, from March 15 (16:00 GMT) to March 17 (15:45 GMT), training events without achievement progression are available.

[h2]From March 17 (16:00 GMT) to April 1 (05:00 GMT) Daily football matches are available: from 16:00-22:00 GMT and 00:00-05:00 GMT.[/h2]

Join 3vs3 matches for lone players, or lead your team to the victory in 4vs4 team matches. Dash! Jump! Hit! Gain rewards!

• You may learn details of each task and track your progress by clicking your nickname, selecting “Achievements → Tank Football”.
  
• Coupons for Team banner decals, Football camouflages for M551, and coupons for golden decorators could be sold on the Market.
  
• PlayStation and Xbox players may exchange each coupon in 100 warbonds.
  
• Rewards stay available for purchase in the Achievements window till April 3 (12:00 GMT).
  
• Prize in-game titles for the top 50 players in each category will be awarded until April 7.
  

[h3]Match rules[/h3]

• The match includes two halves 5 min each. Net playing time counts only.
  
• In a draw, players get additional halves of 1.5 min each. If it is still a draw at the end of the halves, neither of the teams wins.
  
• For an early victory in a 3vs3 match, you need to achieve an advantage of 3 goals.
  
• For an early victory in a 4vs4 match, you need to achieve an advantage of 5 goals.
  

• Artillery strikes are again accompanied by visual effects.
  
• Duguay-Trouin — Two additional respawns have been added.
  

[h2]Sound[/h2]

• VT1-2 and Challenger 2E now have the correct sound of MTU 883 diesel engines.
  
• Artefacts (distortion in midrange area) in explosion sound assets have been found and removed.
  
• Sounds of bomb explosions have received sounds of blown up material falling on player armour.
  
• New sounds for flames on ground, naval and air vehicles as well as static objects on maps have been created.
  
• A number of ground vehicles have received sounds of automatic loaders: AMX-13 (and all tanks with FL-10 and FL-12 turrets), AMX-50, AMX M4, Lorraine 40t, Char 25t, XM-8, Obj.906, Об. 685, CV90105, CV90120.
  
• The interior firing sounds of machine guns of ground vehicles have received more hull resonance of the vehicle and less exterior firing sounds.
  
• The interior firing sounds of machine guns of ground vehicles received sounds of falling shells and segments of the ammunition tape (if it is present).

Not long ago, we asked to see your favorite rank 1 vehicles! This week, we would love to see your favorite intermediate vehicles from ranks 2, 3, or 4!

• Screenshots need to be compliant with the War Thunder rules.
  
• You need to be the author of the screenshot.
  
• Screenshot needs to be new. You cannot use those which have previously been published or used in other competitions.

• A bug that might sometimes cause the hit decals to be too large has been fixed.
  
• A bug where the effect of a shell room explosion can not be played has been fixed.

[h2]Enduring Confrontation[/h2]

• A bug where AI controlled ships at the beginning of the mission dropped their tasks and tried to find the enemy and destroy them has been fixed.
  
• Hunter F.58 — The display of the vehicles at long range in the sighting camera for the AGM-65 missiles has been fixed.

War Thunder has a multi-level anti-cheat model for dealing with cheaters to ensure a safe gaming environment. You can use the complaint system to send a request to our game masters to check a suspicious player. Use the replay feature on our page to send a complaint about the offender.

Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) support partially prevents players from using illegal software and regular system updates keep an eye on more and more suspicious software so that you can enjoy fair gaming. As a reminder, EAC is active in tournaments and in game modes without markers to eliminate the likelihood of cheaters.

[h2]Banned accounts[/h2]
We regularly block users who violate the Terms of Use and EULA. Since January 2023, 261 accounts have been blocked in the game for using prohibited client modifications and today we have decided to publish a list of these offenders in a dedicated forum topic. This list will be available within two weeks of publication.

In addition, during March 2023 we discovered more than 300 episodes of malicious destruction of allies. In these cases the offenders have been automatically blocked for up to 7 days.

Set a strong password for your account and enable two-step authentication in your profile - this will protect your account from fraudsters. Don’t use client modifications and never share your account information with anyone!
