Fight in Arcade, Realistic or Simulator battles! After each battle, the necessary components for assembling the models can be found in “Workshop → Strategist”.

In the “Strategist” event you need to collect figures from components that you have obtained in battles and then use them in the offensive on the playing battlefield. Each completed offensive brings you classified documents which can be exchanged for exclusive versions of the game vehicles.

Sound:

• The sound indication for destroyed enemy in air battle mode now differs from naval battles.
  
• The sound event of fly-by shells near the player’s vehicle features a whistle again, along with a ‘cracking’ sound. The ‘cracking’ sound is more natural for passing-by ultrasonic rounds, but the whistling sound is more familiar to listeners.
  
• A bug has been fixed where a destroyed then repaired engine might operate without sound.
  

Other:

• A bug has been fixed where the landing gear mechanical indicators did not operate in the cockpit view.
  

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.

The Merkava Mk.3D is a later modification of the well-known Israeli main battle tank, developed during the 1980s. Featuring improvements in all aspects, but most notably in firepower thanks to its new 120 mm smoothbore cannon, the Merkava Mk.3D will soon become available to War Thunder tankers in the upcoming crafting event!

In War Thunder, the Merkava Mk.3D will join the ranks of high-tier American gift vehicles, arriving to the game as part of an upcoming crafting event “Strategist”. While at its core the Merkava Mk.3D remains the same as previous versions already familiar to some tankers, the new version of the tank received several upgrades to allow it to go toe to toe with some of the other top MBTs in War Thunder. Lübeck is a Köln-class frigate, built in the 1960s and represents one of the first larger warships built by Germany after WWII. Highly mobile and armed to the teeth, Lübeck will be one of the prizes awaiting captains in the upcoming event, starting soon in War Thunder!

Lübeck will be one of the prizes awaiting War Thunder captains who take part in the upcoming crafting event “Strategist”, starting soon. Being the sistership to Köln, a rank II German frigate already familiar to some captains, Lübeck shares many of its characteristics to its existing counterpart. In particular, her good mobility and numerous guns remain a signature characteristic of this warship.

The Sd.Kfz.251/10 was a later variant of the well-known and widely used German WWII halftrack, equipped with a 3.7cm anti-tank cannon for increased firepower. Tankers will have the chance to add this special version of the Sd.Kfz.251 to their in-game arsenal by taking part in the upcoming crafting event “Strategist” in War Thunder!

The Sd.Kfz.251/10 will be one of the prizes awaiting tankers who take part in the upcoming crafting event “Strategist”, starting soon in War Thunder. This infantry support version of the widely used German halftrack will mostly be seen in lower rank battles, where its decent mobility and quick-firing 37 mm anti-tank cannon are sure to cause some damage to the enemy lines.



However, while the Sd.Kfz.251/10 is well-protected against small arms fire and sharpnel with up to 14.5 mm of armor plating, it still remains vulnerable against dedicated anti-tank cannons as well as artillery fire and aircraft due to its open fighting compartment. Circumventing these drawbacks by simply changing positions frequently however will be more than enough to turn a seemingly harmless APC into a deadly low rank tank destroyer with some nifty premium bonuses!
